So this place is strange and interesting in many ways, Politically, its been very hostile. linguistically, they are some of the most isolated people on earth, despite not being that at all in real life. Culturally, its all fucked and blended from Russia, Persia, Turkey and god knows what else and Historically, well... that's what I hope we can talk about today.
So what happened here. Who are these mountain people and how did they say so separate from the local giants that tend to pass through there?

I don't believe it because I'm a Roman Catholic. At least we have miracles such as Lanciano or Turin or Sokółka.
I'm seriously fascinated by Christology and the development of it over the first few centuries of the Church. And while I'm not a Christian myself, I can understand and agree with the all of the decisions made by the Ecumenical Councils regarding Christ's nature - except for monothelitism.
The official Church position is that Christ has two wills - one human and one divine - but I find that hard to reconcile with him being only One person. Is this not just crypto-Nestorianism? If Christ is human and divine united, then he'd only have a single will...

Depends what you mean by "modern".
