Why bother with fucking infantry if they could just have an army of stealth archers like Legolas? Why have knights when they could use horse archers (also like Legolas)? Just imagine anons some king has an army full of shitty spearmen and dumb fucking melee cavalry that marches through the forest and a horde of stealth archers shower them with arrows gg ez

It's 1918. The Central Powers are defeated. What is the best solution going forward to ensure stability in Europe? Armed with hindsight regarding the Treaty of Versailles and what followed, what would you do differently? Points of interest include war reparations, colonial holdings, international organization, and redrawing the borders of Europe.

Why do Orthodox like to be so edgy and contrarian? People just like it because it's a snowflake religion. I went to an Orthodox church and talked to some people there and they all hate Israel and say they took Christian land in Plaestine and "started the war in Syria". Don't get me wrong, I know Israel has done a lot of bad things (as most states do), but if you are going to be a Christian, you should at least buy the whole ideology, which is supportive of Israel, instead of trying to be a snowflake brand of Christianity that defines itself by its opposition to other Christians

Do Sikhs believe in reincarnation?

Do Sikhs believe in many realms, as do Buddhists/Hindus? For example, do they believe in the Hell-realms and in the Heaven-realms populated by devas and minor gods?

Or, do the believe reincarnation is confined to the human world?

What do Muslims and /his/ think about the Nation of Islam and 5 percenters?

Mankind's true past is both well known and unknown. The truth as it relates to conscious life has been revealed, the truth is stranger than fiction but this is truth you can and should check for yourself. This is truth the evidence says is true.

A man should look for what is and not for what he thinks should be.
Albert Einstein

Truth you can check: It is as matter of fact as the ground and as useful as food. It's the kind of truth that can make hate and war as unnecessary as ignorance.

Charles Darwin revealed how evolution works, but not what it really means.

Evolution is no longer just a theory; it has been proven true beyond a reasonable doubt. The problem is, even people who believe evolution is true disassociate themselves from the process. They somehow skipped all the lower forms of animal life and just started out at the top of the evolutionary ladder.

The evidence says we evolved as life evolved.

Human beings did not just appear at the top of the evolutionary ladder to reap the benefits of those millions of years of evolution without having to live through it.

In other words, you were those other animals. Someone had to be them.

You had to be lower animals to be a human now. You lived as all the different animals in your evolutionary line. You lived through millions of years, and millions of lives and deaths to get to where you are now. That's what Darwin's book means.

In addition to the fossil evidence, the genetic code proves that all animals, including us, evolved from bacteria over the last 700 million years on earth.

In other words, you were a microbe, an insect, a fish, a dinosaur, an ape...

When all of the evidence (100%) says something happened, and there is no evidence (zero) that anything else could have happened, it is the truth beyond a reasonable doubt to honest, rational people.

We have come a very, very long way, but we have a little further to go. The next and last step in our evolution is learning and accepting the truth of life, and this includes acknowledging our true past.

The truth will free us from the animal world we all evolved from.

Is this gay the most overrated ancient westerner?

>Throws tantrums all the time like the feminine sissy he was
>Killed baby brother
>Killed friends and allies just cuz so randumb
>Turbomanlet maximus
>Persians and Pakis towered over him
>Blatant bottom
>Drunkard
>Shit administrator
>Shit philosopher
>Shit at anything that wasnt war related
>Typically outnumbered Achaemenids, sometimes matched in numbers
>Fought six battles
>Gayreek Empire significantly smaller than Achaemenid Empire
>Barbarian fags, beat Achaemenids for same reason Arabs did (prior wars and weak king)
>Died of AIDs with gay lover
>Empire disintegrates
>Son assassinated by other gayreeks
>Fast forward and no gayreek settlement left

One could call him a good general, but compared to what he was up against(decentralized leadership, war weary, and naive emperor), it wasn't hard to win. He would've gotten rekt against Balkans especially when the Germanics and Celts invade(got rekt by Brennus). He would've gotten rekt against India(troops even mutinied at thought) and China.

Everything you've said is true, but it's rather his legacy which influenced a lot of European generals to look up to him, which really set his title of 'Great' in stone. A barbarian from a shitty wasteland in Europe taking over the largest empire of the ancient world is pretty impressive, and sure, he wasn't great at anything besides war, but he didn't get to prove himself as a ruler, as his empire disintegrated after his death.

Tell me about economics, /his/. What traits in people would I want to cultivate (or destroy) as a capitalist to best serve my system?
As a socialist?

As a socialist, selfishness.
>>

Trust is the most important thing to either.

As long as most people trust in the system it's probably going to do okay. When they have no trust in it and want to bring it all down it's probably going to be a bit shit.
>>
>>1282058
Individualism I guess. People need to believe they need the community's approval and involvement before they can do anything, thereby preventing an individual from accumulating capital on their own.

Can parents be blamed for their childrens' crimes, even if these are full-grown adults?
7 posts and 1 images submitted.

If the nature of the crime is such that it can be traced back to the upbringing of the child then yes, to some extent the parents are arguably responsible. Neglect and indoctrination are good examples.
>>
>>1282660
And presumably you could try to trace the parents' faults back to their parents/upbringing and so on.

Was he really as bloodthirsty as history says he was? it's undisputed that he impaled people, but recently i've read that the other stuff, like roasting children alive, cannibalism, cutting women's tits off was german saxon and turkish propaganda, and russian and romanian sources portray him as a just, fair leader.

>Although madly in love with her to the point of suicide, Hitler never once spoke with her,
>Hitler never spoke to Stefanie, always saying he would do so "tomorrow".[2]
>He loathed those who flirted with her, especially the military officers, whom he called "conceited blockheads"
>Hitler disliked dancing and reportedly replied, "Stefanie only dances because she is forced to by society on which she unfortunately depends on. Once Stefanie is my wife, she won't have the slightest desire to dance!"[4]
>When she responded with a smile to his inquiring glance, he was happy and his mood became unlike anything I had ever observed in him. But when Stefanie, as happened just as often, coldly ignored his gaze, he was crushed and ready to destroy himself and the whole world."[3]

So do you think Hitler would browse /r9k/ if he was born 100 years later?

Fun fact: Hitler believed she was Jewish (her maiden name was Izak).

Have you ever been cucked so hard that you genocided an entire people?
>>
>>1281294
Sounds like he had Aspergers or something. Hitler in his youth was a pretty sad character overall. To make a living he drew crappy postcards for tourists and mediocre paintings that he sold to Jewish merchants because "They are the only ones willing to take a risk".

I remember reading about some guy seeing a young man in tattered clothes, holding a couple of post cards in his hands, in a cafe. After several hours he had still not sold any. So the guy (a Jew) felt sorry for him and bought some. Hitler immediately went and bought some sweets for it.

Prime /r9k/ material.
