*The plurality of Gods is directly stated in Genesis when it says the Gods descended to earth and had children with mortals. Because it uses the plural "Gods" this means there must be more than one God.
*God never really denies that other Gods exist, just that you should not worship them.
*Dead Sea Scrolls outright mention other Gods existing and being in a relationship with Yawheh.
*Hellenistic Jews even thought it was ok to "venerate" Greek Gods as long as you did...

Anyone have any more examples of this? I'm extremely fascinated by this idea. The Greek god Boreas and the Shinto Deity Fujin are the same god, having been brought by the Greeks through Bactria, to into India, the Buddhists taking it to China, and finally reaching Japan.

Should Germany look like this today?
I've been reading about how the allies wanted to redraw Europe. I know that the allies agreed on the Oder river as the German border from the start. They just did not know what to do when the river split. I know the Soviets wanted to push Germany as far west as possible. I think the Americans and UK wanted Germany to keep territory east of the Neisse, but west of the Oder river that now goes into modern day Poland. Also, they wanted to keep Stettin to stay German. I may be wrong.
