Why would anyone argue over whether or not the summary movies are canon over the tv? They're just a summary of what happened in the tv, they don't override anything. You can argue about ANT, because they actually change scenes and add things. Anyone who argues over whether or not the compilation films or the tv series is canon deserves to be removed from the gene pool.
Japanese nerds dont have anything to argue about because they all know the movies are canon and theres no misguided elitist weebs around to get butthurt.

Why did they think it was a good idea to make their Spartas open cockpit? Even in their artillery mode they are still open cockpit. Even the Armor Shrike in Blue Gender gave the pilots more protection than these.

I started with Gundam in my teens when I was like 14 with SEED in 2003. Being the eddgy edge lord I loved it. Then again I was in the weeboo phase so I fucking loved Green Green...
Anyways years later I watched most of the gundams out there from UC to AC to Turn A and so on... and 00 came along in 2007. I expected Wing with modern politics. I got just that but also the really cool GN Drive technology.
It had an amazing OST, Amazing mecha designs, the story was a bit on the meh side at the start but got really cool at the end.

Ryu Knight starts good, but it hits a series of problems around the time the Ryus start upgrading that make the quality of the show worse (FOUR FUCKING RECAP EPISODES). And one of the best mechs in the show gets to be onscreen for like a single minutepoor Rune Knight.
On the other hand, the second half does have a surprise appearance of the Humanoid Typhoon joining the main cast, so that's a thing.

I really liked it. Definitly a must watch. Good story, good characters, very good world and RPG feels, good hype scenes.
I like everything I watch though, and contrary to most prople on the net I don't watch things I don't like.
Haven't seen the ova version yet.
4 recaps episodes should be perfectly fine for a 50 episodes series, especially if they try to make them funny and comments on the scenes instead of simple recap. The problem is that the episodes are too close to each other...

She was blinded by the light generated by the ghosts' collective will. Uso didn't have much to do with it. The only newtype who does whacky shit like that unintentionally is Judau. V2 has no psycommu and the Angel Halo was doing wacky things throughout the last episodes.
I wonder if Victory Era UC can give her cybernetic eyes.

Only watch the OVA, after that the actual series begin and the animation quality takes a fucking nosedive back to mid-70s quality standards. The only well-animated shot of the series is a close-up of the main girl's ass.
