A)Rebake:
-H:18m(same as Gusion), W:35.1t(9.3t lighter)
-While the original Gusion was a heavy armored, high output MS for close combat, the Rebake, due to its variable high sensitivity head sensor, can play long range support or shorter range combat.
-Backpack has subarms made of diverted Graze arms
-It diverted the rear binder armor of the original Gusion and it can also be used as a shield, this left vestiges of its old appearance that boasted high defensive power.
-An example of the Gundam Frame versatility
-Long Range Rifle: improved by Teiwaz technicians, added scope, huge accuracy improvement
-The sub arms have more or less the same output of the main ones and can shoot 120mm Rifles with great accuracy.
-Because the original Gusion was too heavy for under gravity action, it was refurbished and regained its versatility. Kudal didn't use the AV System but Akihiro will use it to bring about its true potential.

B)Ryusei-go:
-H: 18.9m(1m taller), W:31.2t(3t heavier).
-It's pink because they found red nanolaminate paint with the Brewers and combined it with their cheap white paint.
-Short Rifle: lower range and accuracy, but ideal for close combat in conjunction with the Battle Axe
-Hyakuren parts added weight but also added more armor.
-The coloring and head nose art are eye catching.
-Teiwaz added connectors for the Kutan.
Anyone else remember this show?

Because for years people wanted Tetsujin in srw, but the one we got was the blue Tetsujin from the 80s. It couldn't be helped, like Godmars it's owned by the studio that made the series and not Yokoyama's estate so it means we can use it and not pay through the nose like the 60s or 2004 shows.

So I just finished watching New Getter Robo, and I have to ask: why do people like Getter at all? The manga wasn't special, interesting or notable in any way, shape or form, the Toei anime are just as bad, and the OVAs were somehow worse. Is it just one of those series that people on /m/ like to try and appear learned on mecha, because there are tons of other series that do everything Getter does and more far better. I'm legitimately asking this by the way, so don't try and dismiss me as a boogeyman or something.

Wait till Char's Counterattack. He's not evil, but he is selfish (to a degree) and helps perpetuate the same cycle that created him in the first place, ignoring Quess' need for a strong paternal figure and causing her and Hathaway to enter the same cycle of tragedy that took Lalah's life and caused the enmity between him and Char.
Even in Zeta though, he's too cowed by his fears regarding space to act for a while which is kind of dickish.

It had a lot of good concepts but it didn't really execute any of them well. I don't think it was terrible but I don't see it as good either. All in all it's a fairly mediocre show.
/m/ hated it as usual
The story is kinda meh, poor execution, but had its charms. Aki herself is a miracle of the universe and should be hailed as one of /m/' greatest mecha-loving girls along the likes of Noa and Noriko.
Are there any details on what ship Delta Squadron and Walkure is stationed on?
It looks like they're a really small force which wouldn't need something as large as a New Macross-class carrier which are tied to the expedition fleets anyway so I doubt they'd have one. They might have a Quarter but then that is still the size of a regular carrier and I'm not sure if LAI or SMS have branches in the Outer Rim that can supply them with one. Or will we see an entirely new class of smaller Macross ships that are even more agile than the Quarter so it could join Walkure's performances?
Personally, I wish that whatever Macross they have starts as a group of separate ships that can optionally dock together, unlike the New Macross-class or the Quarter that start out as a whole but can become independent ships. And not all the ships are military with some dedicated for Walkure/civilian use such as a recording studio/concert hall ship, hospital ship for treating Var sufferers etc. It could then gattai into a proper Macross ship if needed. Would be a nice callback to the original SDF-1 which did have its own city being the non-military part of the ship.
