I can understand radar not working in the Universal Century setting, but basic line of sight artillery and battleship styled bombardment should still be viable.Space is especially accommodating for line of sight.
So ideally, mobile suits should act as mobile infantry that escort artillery, battleships and mobile armors to take key strategic points where they often engage in melee. Swords and pikes would be the weapons of choice.

I've only casually watched some linked episodes, but Minovsky particles do mess with LoS. A couple of the mechs will throw out little inflatable balloons to trick enemy pilots into shooting one and revealing themselves.

That doesn't rule out bombardment which just requires a general area.
IIRC, Minovsky Particle density can distort the visible light spectrum when viewed from far away, making even LoS-based attacks unreliable from far away. Artillery sounds good, but you're again limited to LoS, because the particles make it impossible to radio in enemy coordinates.

We don't know. We don't even know why he was taken off the project, no one has said anything about it. It's entirely possible that he just had to leave due to scheduling conflict or something, it's as valid a reason as any because we have no reason.

Rewatch both Iron man 1 and 2.
Both movies were literally about this.
IE no it is not good business, but after seeing how his company and the military seemed to leak HIS weapons to hostile areas and create so much death, he knew that they would misuse his armor tech as well.

Their robot is pure sex and they have the most styling rollcall. The series has a chinese martial arts motif to it, and has some awesome choreography.

Any mecha based on biplanes?
If not, somebody should draw one.
I'm running an alternate ww1 rpg right now, where the germans were able to capture tank prototypes early in 1917, and were therefore able to make more headway on the western front... anyways, in the story, the French have just developed landing legs for their biplanes, and folding wings, so they have a walking mobile turret, a very early mech design.
The Germans are following suit building higher mobility planes etc.
Anyways, a mech based on biplane designs would be cool, and I need help...
