You know how before Reconguista the Turn A/Turn X were the endgame Mobile suits of the OG timeline?
What do you think would their equivalent would be like in one of the alternate universes?
As in take the current time period in any given AU, advance several thousand years or whatever amount of time there is between MSG and Turn A, and speculate on how their respective technologies might turn out.
If MS were still in fashion, what do you think they would look like? What would they be capable of?

Every day until you realize the genius of Shirow's writing.
I just finished ZZ and the last episode was honestly extremely disappointing. The only thing I was even remotely excited by was the reveal that Chara has no nipples.
All in all, I think that the show isn't as bad as people say it is, and for a while I actually enjoyed it more than I did Zeta after getting past the supremely autistic attempts at begin comedic at the beginning. Unfortunately the earth stuff seemed to drag on for too long and the ending seemed to be rushed to all hell with the deaths of the main antagonists being fairly uneventful.
What are your thoughts on ZZ, /m/?

I liked the early parts of the serious half.
I really wasn't too fond of zeta until the last few episodes as I found almost the entire cast to be completely unlikable and I was happy when so much of it was finally killed off. Had ZZ ended sooner I probably would have enjoyed it more than Zeta as a whole because I genuinely enjoyed seeing most of the cast but the dragging earth plot and rushed ending soured it for me.

I rarely, if ever, want fictional characters to die in fiction. I don't mind them fucking off forever but I get no catharsis from seeing someone I don't like die, unless it specifically serves a purpose within a narrative.
For example, in Berserk, I'd really like to see Griffith die. But I didn't want Katz to die, I just wanted someone to beat the shit out of him and send him back to Earth where he can't get anyone else trapped in his fatally retarded antics.
I've seen a lot of dislike for the more "futuristic hollywood" design. Lemme see if I can sway some of you...

I think the festum since they have the stronkest machines and are still losing? Beta come in second, they took 30 years to take over Eurasia, I don't watch gundam so I don't know about the els

ELS are the best since the whole war with them was just a misunderstanding and they don't actively go around killing people. Peace can be brokered with them via people with quantum brainwaves, and they only go after said people for the most part.
Festum are the most lethal but can be talked to, and some swarms aren't even hostile.
BETA are the weakest of the three but they're assholes and can't be reasoned with, I'd say they're the worst.
