Do any of you know any other modellers that have websites like Kallamity?
I'm looking for more modellers that work on scratch-built mechs rather than kits.
His site is the only one I can find so far, but I have found a few other pics from other modellers on sites like Pinterest and Tumblr, but very few.
I find it hard to believe Z Luca is the only one making scratch-built kits like that.
I'll post more "WIP" pics ITT, post similar pics if you have them.

A number of people who like to troll threads about it too, but that's fairly normal on /m/.
A few months ago finished the original Gundam series and loved
Then immediately after that I watched the entirety of Zeta and fucking hated it
Then I watched the first 3 episodes of ZZ and immediately lost interest
My question is: What should I watch next ? Logically Char's Counterattack should be the next one but I hear that's also shit and I had to watch ZZ to understand what's going on in it
Should I just skip the entire Universal Century and go on to watch a newer show ?

Never. Not even the girl-centric game made by a separate dev company has caught any attention, so the only way to gauge demand is via the VC releases of the localized GBA games (even then it'll be for naught, since it's on the Wii U).

Will his ideas on how to work on anime still work in this day and age? I mean, I may not have watched it, but if we have our misgivings about Tomino doing anything at present, per the complaints here about Gundam Reconguista in G, then how will Takahashi do better?

I have misgivings of him back in the 80s. The man seems to have a knack for making shows that are too ambitious for their own good and also fucking up the pacing on things.
I haven't watched Dougram yet, but between Layzner, Galient and VOTOMS, only VOTOMS has been consistently good all the way through, and even then, it's falling apart due to its sequel OVAs

I'd like a mecha show where the ayy lmaos are ACTUALLY FUCKING AYYLMAOS!
This "The aliens are prehistoric humans from the caveman era who had much more advanced tech and went into space and took all their tech with them and have now come back oh, and they also speak perfect modern Japanese too" schlock is annoying and tired as fucking hell. It's no longer a twist. It's no longer shocking. It's boring, over used and predictable as fuck. It exists solely for the MC to whine and mope over killing another human.

Making my way through Universal Century AT HIHG SPEEDS.
The majority of these shows/movies are shitty, but with neat aspects that hold it together. I love the animation, the mobile suits, the smallfolk scenes (Char rides the El! Mirai tries to catch a plane!), and the fact that it's one of the only pieces of UC media that highlights Char's being a maniac.
The central conflict is kinda dumb, though, and Quess/Hathaway are even shittier versions of Sarah and Katz. Also, I know this is a bad mindset to take into Unicorn, but Newtypes are fucking dumb.
