That piece originated I think from the Daiteioh promo video made to celebrate the Eldoran Trilogy. Not surprised they sound similar, Tanaka did the music for GGG and the first Eldoran show Raijin-Oh, along with the other Brave shows Exkaiser and Dagwon.

Toriyama's mechanical designs are actually pretty consistently good. Everyone just gets caught up on how he only draws three characters these days.
