Hey /m/, I'm planning on re-watching the 80's Guyver OVAs and was curious about checking out the original manga.
From what I remember, Viz translated some volumes years ago but eventually dropped the series, and based on a thread I saw, there aren't much in the way of scanlations outside of some group run buy a moralfag who only wants those who owns the books to have access to the scans or something like that.
Where would I go to get the most up-to-date Guyver scanlations? How are the old Viz releases? I'm iffy about the publisher due to their habits of censoring some of their releases and I have mixed feelings towards their style of localization.

You're pretty much stuck either not having any new ones past volume 28 I think or dealing with the moralfag group. There was some guy on /m/ a few months ago saying he was planning on scanlating the later volumes but I haven't heard much after that initial thread.

You could try learning Chinese too. They are pretty updated on Guyver scans. It will only take you 5 year so be proficient enough to read your favorite Chinese cartoon comics, give or take a few years

I know that several scanlators hang around on /m/, so I'm gonna dump the Angel Cop manga hoping that one of them notices it and decides to spend some time on it, so we can get a better idea of what's happening in it.
Because fuck, it's long overdue.
Anyway without further ado, here's Angel Cop, the story of Japan's cutest fucking backup.

I get that Bask is supposed to be important, but he never really felt like he amounted to much within the series. What was even his roll? Was he the field commander of the Titans or something? IIRC, we see him fucking with Bright the first episode and then fucks off until thirty-some later.

generally it cost them more to hunt down and shut these things down (more so on android simply because it's more accessible for devs), from legal fees to having people look for rip-offs and respond to reports of rip-offs
How does one go about tackling Patlabor as a whole? Is it as simple as production order? I understand the first OVA and movies follow a different continuity to the second OVA and series.

After a strange dream about outer space, you woke up the next morning as the giant robot (60 feet/1828.8 cm). Your new body is equipped with a beam rifle (100 shots before recharge), a beam saber, a atmospheric booster unit (mach 4), and the standard built in cockpit (holds up to 2). You only need solar energy and rest to recharge ( 4 hours). Nanobots can repair simple things but they do have limits and you can still be destroyed.
So how does your life change, what shall you do now?
Well, the first thing is to figure out how to use the stuff like the radar that are built-in.
Afterwards, find out whats the technology level of this possibly alien planet/dimension.
If its medieval as fuck, go fight giant monsters and get hailed as a god.
If its futuristic, find information on the places and such and try to stay out of their eyes. If that fails, open the cockpit hatch when the enemy appears and pull the 'ghost in the machine' thing.
