Well /m/, I delivered. Here it is, all complete. Fun little manga, a bit of a mess, but lots of neat ideas to Turn A's setting, like intergalactic monsters/newtypes or some shit.

Ps3/Xbox 360: Verdict Day (tactical, UNACs, some map customization)
Master of Arena or Last Raven, with 4 being my favorite of the PS360 era.
Who else is writing/drawing their own /m/ material? How did you explain the reason people started using mechs in the first place? What types of mechs do you use and what size? Humanoid? Skyscraper size?
I used to write my own /m/ story but I made it about bio-armor instead b/c it allows things to be more compact.
Those questions are also why I switched.
I've got a few.
One of them is a radically different take on Captain Marvel/Shazam where Cap is actually a giant robot Billy summons with a watch-like device. Mary is his older sister who rides a motorcycle and has her own giant robot. The main bad guys are the Seven Deadly Sins with Wrath being the head of them all. Well, until Sin itself shows up that is. The story takes place in a sem-post-apocalyptic world. Like, part of it is ruins but other parts aren't.

There's three options really
1. Necessity: War is fought in an area where other equipment is not or cannot be brought there for practical, logistic or political reasons.
2. Innovation: The machine has made other combat machines obsolete based on a paradigm shift. The only decent one I've ever heard was using a Man-Machine Interface where it becomes too cost-effective and training-light because a recruit can get a socket in the back of their skull and go to war in a hundredth of the time since they spent the last 20 years learning to pilot humanoids.
3. Fucking Magic. Go with this one, it's safe, easy and effective.

So apparently, at this point, it doesn't even matter. We've reached the point where anything can be called a Gundam.

The Frame inside the armor is a Gundam but the armor isn't.
Good, about time the Gundam name got some variety.
It's good to know that even Japan turns out art that looks like a "how to draw mango" book sometimes.

Fucking loved it, needed more episodes to explain a bit of the plot better but what we got was pretty fun.I wish it was brought back in Z3 though.
It was fun.
I'd kill for a movie about them actually reaching Yapan where King Gainer either fights XAN, gets remodeled to XAN to gets an upgrade.
Also an upgrade for Esperanza using all those spare Brunhilde parts left over after the Overdevil destroyed it.
The episodes dealing with the early Exodus movement were sadly rather pointless and the Overdevil came kind of out of the left field as well.

Expect the last two episodes of Zeta, stretched out to a full series. Death, depression, and suffering with only a small amount of comic relief from the baby and the dog.
Also be prepared for the single most adept and useful character in the entire Gundam franchise: Victory Haro, and the very best implementation of mass-production in the Gundam franchise. Oh, and battleships that roll around like mile long motorcycles. Can't forget that.
Seriously, though, nearly everyone in this series dies horribly or goes completely insane. Have fun.
