The team can only be on earth for one year at the start of the series and there's a countdown clock running throughout vital moments of the final episodes to remind you how little time they have left.
I haven't seen it in a while, but I think they go into the final two episodes with only a handful of hours while they still have a ton of work to do.

It's a very overrated movie. They're androids created so serve humanity by doing shitty jobs in outer-space colonization. They have a built in expiration date of only a few years because they tend to become conscious and break free from their slave-like existences. The ones in the movie are trying to extend their lives by meeting their creator. Deckard may have been a replicant created to hunt down other replicants who was told he was a human so he'd be better at his job.
The gist of the movie is that it wants you to consider what would make something indistinguishable from a human but created differently human? In the novel it's made pretty clear than empathy is what makes you human and a human without empathy might as well be a machine.

Are you kidding me? Gaelio was motivated entirely by pride and being a completely stupid sperg over one measly defeat. He flipped the fuck out and held a grudge and basically chased after his own death. Carta was also motivated by pride and a stupid crush. McGillis was there for exposition and we all know how utterly retarded Ein became.
What politics? Them creating false flag ops, oppressing people and being cowardly shits? Crank was the only remotely interesting one and got killed early on. Mcgillis at least has potential, but Gaelio was honestly so fucking stupid I don't even feel bad for him.
Probably the best looking of average mecha shows with Enokido in charge of making his own Bizarro Evangelion. Some decent stuff, some not so good stuff. I'm rather surprised that this got such a lukewarm reception while MJP got such praise when they pretty much have the same strong and weak points. Then later on Z Gundam... Amuro has the Gundam GP-03 hidden under his house.
He gets to upgrade to the MSZ-006-3A Zeta Gundam 3A Type.
Then on ZZ Gundam Amuro has to get the MSA-0011 S Gundam. Pwns everybody.
Then on CC, Amuro gets the Hi-ν Gundam instead. And follows the Beltorchika's Children instead.

Given that you jumped in with Unicorn, you might want to go production order with the original series then Zeta/ZZ and CCA. The rest of the UC are side stories you can get to later or take place after unicorn.

Yes, it's on youtube. No, there aren't any torrents yet. But the subs are legit, and even include the OVAs and Drama CDs! Goldran, Exkaiser, and Dagwon all finished over the course of the past week.
Give these guys some props, and if someone can collect the sub files and remux them to raws for torrents that'd be even better.
