My favorite crossover movie is still Shinkenger vs Go-Onger. It perfectly showed the sillyness of Go-Onger, and the seriousness of Shinkenger.
Second favorite is probably Gokaiger vs Space Sheriff Gavan, and third is Boukenger vs Super Sentai.
Started watching a few years back, and started with Zyuranger, and made my way through completed shows. I feel like you're right, the crossovers could be so much better, but those three are pretty great.
I'm not done with ToQ, so I haven't watched Kyoryu vs GoBus, but I will soon!

Ohranger is my least favorite but it still had some damn good episodes. Ninninger is probably 2nd worst among the shows that i've watched all the way through. I gave up on Bioman after 14ish episodes but that was probably the 4th or 5th series I tried watching and I'm much more used to how older/Showa series work now so I'll probably like it if I try again.

That's awfully pessimistic. People felt the same way about TVN at one point, yet we have alternatives for some of their shows now. Who knows when the next OT or MFC will form with interest in those shows?

I'm just a latefag skimming through discussions I missed. I haven't seen either show and I'm definitely not qualified to criticize subs. I just know some people hate IS and want alternatives.
I haven't got the chance to watch the latest episode of Zyuohger but when I did, holy shit, I just love this season. I mean what is there not to love? Cute/pretty cast, good acting (Tusk might need a push there, he can sound forced sometimes) and those villain designs.
And is it me or the latest episode with the plant-based MoTW plot convulated and not so typical of Sentai? Might be the dark atmosphere of an underground facility which is more seen in KR.
Anyway, that preview holy shit. Genis is making his move, finally! That fitting preview music to show shit is going down. Zyuohger is a wonder. The camera work this episode is a bit weird too, as in new, I don't know, seems new.
Oh, on a small note (or might be big), we finally get to know Yamato's background starting with his parents, huh? What happened to them that he doesn't want to talk about it? And I love how the Zyuman's family are mentioned.

Not actually sure what's going on with everything at the moment. The VS is still totally my fault. The v2s are more on Drazic at this point.
Why do Sentai shows reuse themes so often? It can't be that hard to come up with a new gimmick once a year.
