Just got Unreal Engine and have a Rift coming in a few days, so I'm looking for project ideas.

Did this game recently go through some big changes? It looks a lot better and closer to SDGO now then the last time I saw it with 10 trillion fucking cool downs and shitty online Musou gameplay

That's a shame...Hopefully it continues to keep picking up the pieces in the future cause it looks pretty good and apparently there's Weapon customization so I figure it'd put an end to all that annoying unit rehashing SDGO had where you had like the Heavy Arms then the Heavy Arms but with Homing missiles.
Given how the freedom isn't boosting around in one direction all day erryday in one vid I saw along with how getting hit by melee isn't a near death wish it seems more balanced than SDGO too

Why can't the west design cool looking mecha? It's not a realism thing because Japan does realism better.
We all know Syd Mead did great work on Turn A Gundam but everything else is either trash or plagiarism. Their 'realistic' mecha are all battletech/mechwarrior/macross/dougram clones that can't match anything seen in a Takahashi show, King Gainer or Macross and their humanoid robots have none of the character of any Japanese humanoid robot.

It also had some interesting concepts, and such that were either fresh to gundam or not used that much, but they were glossed over, PMC focus, Mars Setter, the cybernetics, etc. But it was all just kinda side shit, or was let down by the shows short comings.
Basically conceptually I like the show, but I hated the exicution that I've dropped it twice now, and I honestly don't know if I'll pick it up for S2. Sunrise just needs to take a break from shitting out so many AU's in a row, same with all the UC ovas and I say this as a gundam fag.
