- Steve made progress and made a new revision to Start.dol and it looks nice, especially after Dash made some corrections.
- Then pretty much immediately, Steve added BGMs and brought Start.dol up to v5, with a correction by Dash afterwards.
- Bring finally made some progress on decompilation.
- Shinobu looks pregnant in one thumbnail.
- All battle quotes have been translated just in time for Christmas.
- Decompilation woes and updates to graphics editing.
- Bring is now white land-owning male master race.
- 2016, year of SRW?
- @3 menu patch released.
- 3DS downgrader was released, allowing CFW.
- Luigi's Mansion cleansed.
- Bring has been playing around with UX too much (screenshots, dumping audio, finding compressed text, etc.).
The old texture replacement method is still usable, up to stage 20, essentially act 1. (can be used along with the new one, just don't get the stages or battle lines)

Yeah, that's where it stopped. I have the voice acting ripped and transcoded to flac (and 4 Fei Yen songs). I have a BCSAR container with the rest of the audio, but no way of extracting it. Dash might be able to repurpose one of his extractors to do it.

I also took a peek at arcBtlMsgDat.bin, which probably has battle messages, just based off the filename. It's a container for EDG files. Splitting that file into the component EDGs is trivial, but the contents of the EDG files seems to be compressed, so that's not going to help much.

Hello /m/. For the past while I've been working on a master list that covers what shows throughout the entire mecha genre have subs and which ones do not. This is the end result of my work.
First, some points... this list is not yet comprehensive enough to specify which fansubs groups handled each show. It will specify if a show was given official subs by denoting it was licensed. Mentioning which group did which show isn't really the point of the list anyway. That can be saved for a larger wiki that I may or may not create later (similar to the tokusubs wiki)
So what's the point of the list?
To tell us what's available to be watched now, and what projects still need to be worked on by future groups. The list was compiled using research based on checking nyaa, anidb (most notably under the mecha tag), bakabt, and individual wikipedia entries for each show.
Not every show that falls under sci-fi is on here, nor am I even sure if every show I've left on here still should be. This list is for TV shows first and foremost, not OVAs or films. Generally, this is meant to cover piloted giant robots, whether real or super. Power Armor shows are generally left off with a few exceptions, and short comedic series (like Gundam san) are regulated to more OVA like categories and not included.

So I just finished watching Valvrave.
Really? This is what you go so worked up over? It was just kind of mediocre. Completely failed to live up to its reputation. I'm disappointed in you all for making such a big deal out of it.

Hell, Haruto wasn't even a bad protagonist. Not the best, but he also failed to live up to his supposed reputation as a whiny bitch.
Not enough talking about how Shouko is a horrible human being who the writers for some reason expect you to like, and expect you to consider to be the love interest despite the fact that she and Haruto barely interact in the entire series.
The action was awful and the animation was stiff and lifeless, but it feels more like that's the fault of the non-existent choreography more than the animation because the models themselves are pretty competent.
The point is that I can't believe you spent years going on and on every day about how awful this was, not including the one guy who was drawing it out by making threads constantly, and yet it was just mediocre. I've seen worse in the last couple of years.

/a/ has a thread talking about the new Macross ship that shows up in Delta. Why are people confused as to it's class?
It's a New Macross-class vessel, as evident from the shoulders. The central torso has heavy guns and armor that are just replacing the hangar bays you saw in that position on the Macross 7, Macross 21, and Macross 25. In fact, it looks similar to the torso on the Macross 13.
If you look at the carrier ship, it has the designation CV/C-109 on it. Given the shape, and the scale of the Valkyries on it, it seems like it might have been salvaged from an Uraga-class hull or some other carrier class that predates the Guantanamo and comes after the ARMDs, considering the Guantanamo starts from CV-299. By Macross 7 though, they're all CVS-XXX, while the Uragas start from CV-404.
By the way, the Prometheus from SDF Macross is CVS-101, and the keel looks similar. This might be a space-borne carrier that was based on the Prometheus' design as an homage.
So what happened to this? Last I recall we were almost done with it.

Fukuda wants to clear up things from ten years ago, because all people remember are

The facts are
-Morosawa was not a huge Nishikawa fan and wasn't even at the last radio recording, Fukuda didn't go there for no reason
-Nishikawa contributed a lot to Seed, taking the time to participate in events and such, and Fukuda got a massive bouquet from him
-It was thus his duty as director to visit Nishikawa's final recording with a bouquet himself
-This was approved by the producer and was done after all the work at the time was cleared up and Fukuda returned directly to the studio immediately after
-Morosawa did nothing wrong
-Most scripts need to be rewritten 3-4 times, some up to 10 times, but Morosawa's were almost always approved on the first go
-She needed time to think before writing but no longer than other people
-She took 1-2 weeks per scripts, in some cases only one day
-Consider how recent shows can't even handle half year series properly before you criticise the Seed Destiny staff
