The more I read about it, the more I realize that Zeta's production staff and sponsors had no idea what the fuck they were doing.

So they approached me about whether they could do something with Giant Robo, as the main mecha was red and blue. So this was around 85 or 86 and TBS were going to do this as a TV series. Again, this got cancelled but it resurfaced as an OVA and they took around two years to do the first episode. So to put it really simply, Giant Robo was a byproduct of when Nishizaki tried to resurrect Yamato and failed.
That's pretty funny.

Emulate/import some games.
The SRW and G-Gen games for turn based stuff. There's various ACE, Armored Core, Macross, and Gundam games for action.

I also sort of miss SDGO. It was on PC, had huge MS selection, and manual aim. Shame about the playerbase though

Has anyone gotten Climax UC to run perfectly on Windows? It's like the only game to lag in PCSX2. It'll have moments of 60FPS but usually dips below that. Dialog stutters too which sucks. Really fun game otherwise.

there's two chronologies, both are great and worth the watch

OVA 1 (aka Early Days) -> Movie 1 -> Movie 2
TV - OVA 2

I second Patlabor.

The best thing about Gundam Unicorn is the OST and the animation is pretty good, the CGI is used mostly only when it's reasonably necesary (Unicorn transforming)

Turn A has amazing music and the art is gorgeous but I don't know how well it has aged.

Makes sense back in the manga maybe, but all modern interpretations of the RX-78 have a swiveling mount is for. This just makes it so that when he looks left in his normal stance, Amuro can't see shit.

Besides, if you want to get technical; if the RX-78-02 held the shield the proper way a shield would be mounted normally, it would be sideways.
