Hello /m/, I'm Joe Stronger. I like a lot of old shit, but a lot of it is in Japanese. So today I'm going to dump this here in the hopes that someone someday will make better use of it than I can.
I originally sought this book, the Devilman Kaitaishinsho or Devilman Tabulae Anatomicae, because I fucking love Devilman, but when I heard about this interview from evageeks (which is only partially translated and even then is like a page and a half translated from Japanese to French to English) I got even more interested, especially considering Anno at one point in the interview cites the works of Ken Ishikawa, who is my favorite mangaka and created Getter Robo which is my favorite mecha series in existence, as his bible in High School. So naturally, I wanted the rest.
I don't have the whole book scanned, sadly, only the opening 12 or so pages that contain the interview, but I figure these pages are valuable enough in their own right. Due to my minimal knowledge of moonrunes, I can't exactly use them, but if any of you can, then I figure it's work it to give you these pages.
So to whoever has a plan for these pages, godspeed.

(Note: I am aware that these images are only slightly related to mecha on the basis of Uncle Go and Anno, but I still figure they have a place being shared on /m/)
(Another Note: If a large number of people ask, I might also scan the rest of the book. It'd be long and tedious and would all be raws, but I figure if I died tomorrow or anytime in the future and shared at least some of my love for the classics, then that'd be worth scanning.)

Yes, go in production order. And try to expand outside of Gundam. It isn't the alpha and omega, it's just a shitposting magnet. Fortunately the volume of threads we get means there is still decent Gundam discussion to be found somewhere. Gundam is good, but there is better.

Because a good 75% of posters on /m/ have only watched Gundam and probably only half of it, at best.
Tell me /m/, is Gasaraki worth watching? I am 4 episodes deep and while I am intrigued, I want to know if it's worth watching all the way through. I really enjoy the "realistic" approach it is taking, but I've heard mixed things about it

It is one of the better mecha shows I've seen. I found the way that they merged together the different elements of the plot worked really well.
Have any of you guys seen this shit? It's a gungriffon clone or something. Didn't try it yet. Looks sick though.

Yeah, I've played it. It's pretty fun. My only real complaint is that your weapons burn through ammo ridiculously fast, and resupplying takes a long time. Kind of breaks up the action.

To be honest, I didn't care for Kouji's original VA, either. Nor Tetsuya's. Tetsuya sounds way better in Mazinkaiser, as does Kouji in Shin Mazinger.

Adding to this, I DO like Kouji's VA when he's voicing the professor in Dancouga.
Mazinkaiser is the only good Mazinger anime. If Shin Mazinger had Hiroya Ishimaru as Kouji it might've been better, as one of the major problems with it was his new VA sounding fucking annoying.

And they keep offering him more money to come back just one more time since he's a safe bet to bring in the big bucks as much as a lot of people don't like him. He'll probably get fed up with it eventually and move on, but there might not even be anyone interested enough in giant robot films to take over anyways.
