I know from reading the MG Rinascita's manual that Fellini made the thing with the intent of creating a true upgrade to the Wing Gundam instead of just going back to Wing Zero.
I also know from the MG Rinascita Alba's blurb that Fellini further modified the design to be something that "Heero Yuy could have piloted", hence the removal of a couple of his personal design touches.
But did he have to take out the beam capes? After Colony totally could have had those!
Anyway here, have some translated portions of the MG Build Fighter manuals....

Incidentally the Build mkII's manual is pretty explicit about it being the fifth mkII. As far as I know there were only three, so is there some sidestory with a fourth somewhere?
Or maybe the fourth one was going to be upgraded even further, so that after the Super Gundam beat up the Titans Build mkII it'd have to face something even stronger!
I just finished this show. Anybody wanna talk about it?
Personally I thought it was great, the scenes with stormbringer and dead or alive got my blood racing. My only gripe is all the shitty cg they used, and the fact that the finale wasn't quite as good as episode 12 with classic and new jeeg wrecking shit.
Is the original Jeeg anime any good?

I think it's the best go nagai mech anime(getter doesn't count).
It really combines all that is awesome about super robots and turn it into 13 episodes.
Sadly 70s jeeg isn't subbed so idk if it's good or not

Something like Winspector and Solbrain will probably happen for the SWAT team, and possibly even in our lifetimes. The US Military is already experimenting with combat suit type power armor, and it may very well be possible that artificial intelligence will advance enough that we can have robots as force augmentation. No one would trust robot cops solo though, so they'd have to be supervised by an officer, much like Winspector has.
I wouldn't be surprised if Construction Suspension Order happened eventually, banana republic, bureaucracy and all.

What are the absolute best ones to watch after 00? Should I start with the 1 series per timeline spinoffs or should I watch the UC stuff?
Also how good is the movie trilogy covering the first Gundam anime?

That's really for you to decide, and depends what you're in the mood for.
Of course you'll get shit for it, where do you think you are? Anyway, 00 was amazing. At least the first season imo, I really disliked the second one personally.
If you're more into the crazy shit, you'd probaby enjoy the spin offs more. Definitely check out Turn-A though, it's the most unique of the bunch.

The movie trilogy is pretty good, although it has a terrible dub full of fake british accents and ROBOTON INVADERS, go with subtitles if you're going to watch the films. Alternately, the series dub is excellent, and the series is fleshed out in more detail than the films. In either form, though, Mobile Suit Gundam is pretty different from 00. I loved both, but I have to say that Mobile Suit Gundam holds a higher rank with me even though I did see 00 before it (I actually started with 0080: War In The Pocket,...
