God, the remaster's movements for the strike feel so... wrong. Blade up, blade down, blade out to the side, and then lean into it. Going through the motions, it almost feels like moving in reverse.

The launch date for the Homeworld Remastered mega 2.0 patch has just been announced for June 7th. Patch notes have not yet released but will probably at release of the patch.

It's going to add back in Ballistics, Formations and a bunch of other things. This patch has been a long time coming but I'm pretty excited.

Even if they add what they promised years ago, the implementation might suck. Plus does this mean HW2 will get a ballistic model? If so i might consider buying it this time around.
Just reading the comments makes me rage. They make fixing bugs which originally took 1 guy a few weeks to code from scratch without crunch time as if it was the ultimate coding challenge they solved, when they were the ones who broke it in the first place.

High Grail really is a bad upgrade. They completely removed the Sword Blazers and forearm weapons in general, it has only four swords that can only be used as a single combined two-handed sword and the regular swords are to short/wide to be used on their own so it can't use Oldrin's signature duel wield, it has less Sword Harukens and has a pretty ugly head.

Nope. It retains the Sword Blazer and Sword Harken functions. The forearms now have BL generators for defense in addition to Sword Blazer and the combined swords are said to function like a whip so it presumably has wide range Sword Harken capability(gonna need the lineart to confim this last point)

Why did Char go from "Fuck yeah! Newtypes!" to "I have to exterminate all Newtypes" during the battle of A Baoa Qu and then back to "Fuck yeah! Newtypes!" basically during/right after the battle?
I get that he hates Amuro and all but his brief and extreme "Kill all Newtypes" boner just seems contrary to everything he stands for before and after the battle.
