A month or so ago, I made a topic seeing if anyone had scans of the artwork from the Japanese release of Dune, drawn by Ishinimori. No one had any, but I was searching recently and managed to find three pages from it from someones blog. I thought I would share my findings. Please feel free to post other artwork based on other sci fi properties, preferably literature.

This one is... I'm not quite sure. I want to think the small child is Alia, because her mom is huge compared to her, but it also may be the beginning of the book when Paul is tested by the Reverend Mother (in the background) with that pain box. Any other guesses?
And last one is after Paul and Jessica escape the Harkonnen assault and Paul find his family's ring in the supply bag.
I'm going to keep searching for more, but it was hard enough finding these scans. My Japanese isn't that good, but I might try and see if I can fish anything from 2chan. At this point, though, I might just have to buy the books and scan them myself.
I'm going to post some high resolution images of the covers I found. Much better than you can find on the English sites.

So /m/, I personally don't believe Zeon Zum Deikun was assassinated. I feel like he has a massive heart attack due to bad health. He was older and under a lot of stress and had bad sleeping habits.
Degwin Zabi may or may not have been "appointed his successor" officially, but I think Degwin was legitimately trying to continue the ideals of Zeon Zum Deikun. I personally like Degwin as the guy who did kill Deikun out of ambition despite being his friend and later came to regret it, because he saw the effect it had on his kids and society. I think it's a more interesting route that he changed over time, but did instigate the situation.

I'm finally entering the world of HD tvs. Are there any that can handle [EG] or other high-end encodes via built-in players?

Just found out about this, it's a short 15-minute OVA from the 80s with pretty sweet mecha animation. Too bad about the recording quality.
