Leo easily,
Leo is utilitarian and simple in design, looks like military hardware, without unnecessary frills and spikes of villainy.
Leo is what a Zaku wanted to be and probably would have been, had Gundam had less toyetic influences and wan't riding on coattails of several successful super robot show with robots of the week.
F6-402 is the best mecha girl i have seen in the anime, she's realistic what a real military robot girl be like and act yet still have that anime girl charm

It's not used like a conventional gunblade, but the luger lance in Fafner's stab and then fire railgun method is cool.
I like some of them, mostly when it's more of a rifle with an oversized bayonet. Pic related.

It's fun. It helps break up the monotony of watching the serious business play out in other Gundam series. It's a super robot show, so if you are not prepared for weaponized rose blossoms and horse-piloted mecha, then you should probably skip it for now.
If I were you, I'd wait until the BDs come out. God knows 20+ year old anime could use the cleaner looks.

So I never watched anything related to macross, and was wondering if I should, but I really don't like j-pop or idol stuff, so my natural idea was to watch macross 7, since I enjoy old j-rock a lot.
