In the time it takes to watch this thread for replies you can watch both movies. "Is it worth it" is something you can only decide for yourself in the end. I dislike that image and disagree with it's central premise. I think he wanted Lalah to guide him in how to be a newtype and a compassionate person, not in life in general and that he saw Quess as a way to achieve that even with Lalah dead. The movie essentially says he does.

We had this thread before. Robocraft is shit.
It has shitter devs, a community maintained and composed of actual twelve year olds and idiots, and is in general so gimped and unrecognizable from its original concepts and potential that is is unworthy of the title of robot game.
Intentional gimping and neglect of features in lieu of actual balance, a staggering FIVE maps over nearly a year, fucking jewtastic general practice, not one, but -two- homing weapons, and still a buggy shitpile. This isn't forgetting the broken promises and outright removal of other features either.
Much of the original player base of this game abandoned it some time ago and in fact returned to the forums later on to chew out the devs for the garbage direction this game took. "MOBA" my fucking ass. It earned the nickname robocuck for good damn reason.

So, I just finished watching Evangelion for the first time (Just the main series, not any of the movies yet) and, well, I liked it... but I think I liked it in the wrong way.
I really enjoyed the monster-of-the-week episodes, thought the varying Angel designs were really neat, enjoyed the EVAs all working together, and really dug the action.
Meanwhile, I didn't really care so much for the entry level philosophy that was going on, and found some of the psychological aspects not that interesting. Gonna be honest, I was pretty pissed when they had Asuka just got catatonic after losing a fight against an Angel that beat the shit out of Shinji and Rei too. Many of the purely character focused episodes were hard to get through, as characterization for most of the cast felt very shallow and not nearly that interesting.
Anyone else have the same thoughts? Should I just try a more action oriented mecha anime next?
These kids destroyed the world for basic therapy. Well, two of them. They're in a common vein of anime characters that are very into themselves.
