Mobile Suit Gundam Online is a F2P third person shooter set in the Universal Century of the Gundam franchise. The game features massive battles of over 100 players as well as small scale battles 6v6.

Only a handful of Zelda games (the original, Ocarina and Twilight Princess) have sold significantly more than that from my understanding. Or were most Metroid games like 1million or less then and Prime was just outstanding for it?
Shit, Kirby is still getting a good few games and 3 million would be impressive for a Kirby game, which seems to average about 1.5 million.
