Hold on... this fucker didn't even draw much. The covers were mostly cloaked with only volumes 11 and 12 having new suits. The fuck was he smoking? Like how the mini-series was partially a live-action adaptation of the TV series (same scenes, different characters/context), the movie is also a partial live-action adaptation of the Patlabor 2 movie. When I saw this scene going through the waterways under the bridge network, I immediately recall the exact same scene from the animated movie. It's pretty neat to see how well the animated scenes translate into 3D.
