Fun time with some good customization. About a 20+ main story with a post game.
Though by then you'll wish the combat had more depth.
Also watch the subbed anime since it's actually pretty good. If you ever watched Gundam Build Fighters imagine that but with better fights.

Oh it's very much a comedy.
It may have moments of real talk dead seriousness but they never drag the show out of its tongue in cheek space opera corner, at least not until the events of the movie.
