This is like the one good part of Kabuto outside of zany Dark Kitchen shit. Shame Sasword's character was so butchered for the entire middle act of the show, because this part is great.
Eh, I dunno, the second half was pretty damn goofy, almost on par with Den-O. And the ending is one of the more uplifting ones of the early Heisei era, especially when compared to Ryuki, Faiz and Blade.

I'm still amazed at how completely the final generation fell apart, and how the story went out on wagon wheels.
Also, Faradin is one of the most tooth-grindingly boring arcs I've ever seen. It was the very first generation, too! It's like they were trying to cram 0079, Gundam Seed, and I don't really have an analogue for the last one into a single 50-episode series.

Finally finished watching Nadesico today. It was...not that good. Akito's PTSD was annoying and so was his passive attitude about the girls pining for him, the constant love triangle antics got old fast, the dialogue would be too fast paced at times, it took 13 or so episodes for the plot to actually go somewhere and give us some clues as to who/what the Jovians are and when they finally do it's retarded. And not the fun kind of retarded either.
But most of all the ending was fucking terrible. Incredibly rushed and left too many loose ends. But I did like most...

Can we discuss something about Gundam Wing for a second? Did anyone else feel they seriously dropped the ball with this show? The lead writer left almost half-way through writing the script and you can see around episode 15 when things start to feel different, character progression completely leaves and the show goes down the gutter.
I mean we know they wanted to implement their own version of Newtypes into the show, with Quatre having psychic powers (we see glimpses of it in the early episodes), but once the lead writer left, it never goes anywhere. Even his whole 'soul...

Judau and Katz would be feuding. Potentially they'd be able to mellow each other out and grow as individuals, but their initial relationship would be very rocky (kind of like how Katz died to begin with).
Katz would, with Kamille out of commission, believe he's the most rightful person to pilot the Zeta. He's the experienced soldier in comparison to Judau, but Judau would be the naturally more talented pilot. Katz would still have Sarah's death weighing on him and the way Judau acts could potentially remind him of Scirocco with the way Judau naturally...
