Regarding the Impact stuff, all versions of it work fine on emulators but Open PS2 Loader's fix for the game requires it to have the right region code in the ISO. Theoretically I may have just found a version that isn't this weird asian version floating around everywhere that fits the bill. If anyone's interested, it's on some sort of paradise for emus that like to ride on boards.
