IIRC the SEED line of Gunpla were a disaster besides the MG Freedom though. Lots of shops had huge problems with massive backlogs of unsold Gunpla and were practically giving them away.
I remember during that time you could buy them in bulk for dirt cheap because of what a hard time they had shifting anything other than the 1/100 MG Freedom and that PG Strike.

It's rough around the edges at times, but they're actually pretty decent at doing english versions of super robotish lines.
Better than Wing's dub most of the time.
I think it was ok for its time,with the help ofKYOJIIII!!!
I love it, though it definitely has it's QUALITY moments.
One of the only shows I prefer sub to dub.
It's also an example of how you can do english dubs that sound good WITHOUT Steve Blum
