I was going to give the berserk anime a shot because I enjoyed the manga like ten years ago or something, but fuck that, it looks like garbage. I think the worst part is the animations, it's worse than PS2 FMVs.

This was actually the first album I uploaded here when I started making these music threads here at /m/. If you're wondering why I'm uploading it here again, it's because it's a new version (as shown by the "v2" next to the title").
Since my vinyl-editing skills have been slowly getting better, I decided to take the time to record this album again and remove the things that were plaguing the last version: clicks/pops, 60 Hz noise, ground noise, etc. I'm doing the same thing with the other Digital Trip albums I uploaded before (Vifam, Xabungle, etc.), and with some of the other albums that I posted here as well.
I'll be posting v2 of Digital Trip Giant Gorg in a few days (maybe even tomorrow if I'm lucky enough).

I think a series of OVAs for the novelization could work, would be nice to see Cusco Al actually make an animated appearance in something, and Char is surprisingly reasonable (outside of his eventually fixation with Amuro that starts to cause friction with his other Newtype allies later...) compared to the original series.

I remember this, it went back and forth between "This is pretty cool" to "Oh God this is stupid, even for Transformers".
Fire Convoy is still one of the best versions of Optimus Prime though.
1) What do u guys think of Macross Elysion compare to its predecessors?

Honestly it's too damn slow paced.
This was much more badass.
Elysion is pretty nice, I like it in ship mode.
As for showing the transformation and charging, I'll say it doesn't make sense strategically in that scene.
The Elysion fell into the water and presumably transformed and charged their cannon while underwater and not having any guns firing at them. They then surfaced, surprising the enemy and immediately went for the shot having pre-charged it.

I kinda like how all the descendants of the SDF-1 inherited these generic attack names even if they're not Macross class.

Most definitely. People don't generally hate each other due to misunderstandings, they usually hate the other person because of what they are.
In any case, newtype senses allow people to more easily perceive feelings, presences, and even emotional intent sometimes. It's not a deep logical understanding, but more of an instinctual thing (friend or foe).

Spacenoids feel marginalized under the oppression of the bloated, corrupted, and uncaring Federation that governs from afar, so they feel a need to feel better about themselves in some way and even sometimes superior. Hence the "at least gravity isn't holding me down" mentality and sometimes even "spacenoids are newtypes and newtypes are the future master race" schtick.
I've seen Gundam lines and scenes get parodied a lot in VNs but this is the first time I've seen this one

That's way darker of a line than I'd expect from a bishonen game.
A couple of familiar faces showed up in the first Neptunia game. in Rebirth they get proper portraits that make the parody more overt. Same VAs too.
