Watched through the first four episodes knowing nothing about Gundam X and it's certainly got my attention! Like holy shit at the Earth. Just how many colonies were dropped?! Is an AU really cribbing the Newtype thing? Slick way of doing the episode previews to make the episode itself lengthier, though its hampered by the first minute of each episode being the last minute of the previous one. Another downside is that there's already at least 4 Gundams running around. Really hoping this won't turn into another Wing.
Also, it may be the dvd quality, but this series looks more aged than both G and Wing, both of which I'd rewatched recently.
Either way both X and ZZ are off to good starts imo.

It probably is a mixture of DVD quality and low budget. No one knew Turn A or Victory looked as good as they did on BD.
Even Wing looked good on BD (even if the art wasn't always up to scratch), so I'd imagine X actually has a really good looking show that's just obscured by not having a BD release. Hopefully we'll get one soon, and I hope G Gundam's Blu Ray release ends up being better than 0083s and most of Victory's, since the trailer for G's BDs already looked great

If the 00 Qan[T] or 00 (no raiser) were to somehow drift into UC's universe, and crash land on the Earth (No Setsuna or ELS of course), what do you think would happen?
This is considering that Newtypes != Innovators of course; and reverse engineering is feasible, but would take decades to achieve outside of synthesizing E-carbon.
I'm just curious of what you guys think the impact of introducing GN Drive technology to UC would be, especially given whose hands it ends up in.
Also what would happen based upon the year that it ended up in UC's universe?

So when I saw the title I asked "But is she Gundam?"
I can't for the life of me remember the gundam who had two large cylinders on his shoulders that looked lik the thing in the picture. They didn't cover his arm like GP02A. I think this gundam was from the of the series that came out in the past 10 years. Any ideas?

no, they werent plate like, they were like two enormous silos on top of each shoulder, im looking through gundam store and more right now and not having luck but it's one that I saw most people had the master grade of when I got into gunpla in 2013
