According to the japs it was basically a game that tried to be like SFC games but ended up being soulless, boring and archaic.
Basically the same thing that happened with Pier Solar, they tried to cash in with nostalgia pandering and like every moron who tries to do that they forgot that nostalgia only works when the games were made during that time and were the genuine products of their time instead of just a cheap imitation.
