What do I need to read before Getter Robo Armageddon?

Mom, I had this terrible nightmare that Reiji never came back, so I became depressed and put the gunpla I built for him in our trophy and then forgot about it. Then, years later, a complete retard who doesn't even know what Gundam is found it and was convinced by some kind of underage turboslut to pilot it, and everyone was sucking his dick comparing him to Reiji even though he never did anything to demonstrate he had half the skills, talent, or effort.
Then they started playing in the u-19 nationals, and this idiot was getting carried by my gunpla the whole time. Every opponent in the nationals either deserved to win more than his team or were more skilled and experienced, but he rolled through them effortlessly anyway. The power scaling was all over the place and everyone was an edgy tryhard. In the end they fought a pale shadow of my final battle ending when they turned into spirit animals and blew up Earth.
The worst part is he took my masterpiece, Build Burning Gundam, and altered it with the minimum effort put in to turn it into a toyetic monstrosity, and then did it again after the tournament, ripping off my concept and creating some hideous samurai bootleg and slapping his name on it. And I couldn't say anything the entire time, I had to just watch it on TV as he dragged everything I stood for through the dirt, because his teammate was China's brother.
But at least it was all just a dream.

It does look weird, because nobody's mouths are moving. Once the script is recorded I can then animate and lipsynch, but until then it's still mouth city. So just imagine them saying stuff.

You should practice doing basic movements before you try to do such big projects. I've never seen you do any sort of animation that didn't look bizarre as fuck.

Not that guy, but because of or despite your rotoscoping, everybody moves like a puppet being slowly manipulated into simple movements. On top of that, they move really slowly, practically in slow-motion. It doesn't look very good
I'd rather have fewer frames with no rotoscoping and natural movement than a million rotoscoped three-tone-shaded ones that have odd and unnatural movement. The pool animation preview from a while back was a good example of that.
The rotoscoped ships look like really bizarre CG too. It's a weird style. Not sure if it's good or bad yet.
You can draw just fine but I think you could really benefit from practicing conventional animation. Because everybody looks still and awkward and unnatural and all of the detail in the world won't stop an uncanny valley effect.
Like when you were doing the Out Quest trailer and you said something about the robotto's movements being awkward because you couldn't get proper rotoscoping material.
Okay /m/, there's an all mecha heroine VN (or hero otome game if you're into that), whose route do you aim for? What would the route entail? Setting, details, whatever, go nuts. Let's see what you've got.
Pictured is my choice. The route would be difficult as hell to get onto, with her scathing sarcasm making it hard for the player to get a read on her desires and real opinions. She goes from making fun of the MC to genuinely liking him. Member of the fencing club.

Hey there. Like I said earlier, I'll be scanning the missing issues of Viz's Area 88 release. I'm about to scan #30, which is the first chapter of Area 88, volume 3 (wideban). I might post some downscaled scans in this thread, for reading purposes. Someone volunteered to clean these scans. The comics are in pretty good condition, actually, which suggests that they've been sitting on a shelf for however many years, untouched. No surprise as to why Viz cancelled it.
