Need your help, gentle/m/en. I just found Gundam Wing on DVD online for rather cheap, but I am a little apprehensive about buying it for 2 reasons:
1) It comes from Malaysia
2) It has the Lambaian Filem logo all over it.
Now, I can't find any footage of Lambaian Filem doing a Gundam Wing dub in english, but since I can't find Ocean's logo anywhere on the box, and Malaysia is notorious for making utterly shite dubs, I am wondering if I'm paying for a shitty bootleg. It's been 22 years since the events of 7, who knows where he is these days.
In terms of the power of his song, I think everyone can agree that Basara is the best in the franchise. But there seems to be a specific genetic quirk that Walkure are looking for, much like how Sheryl and Ranka needed their fold wave voices to affect the Vajra, so who knows if Basara could affect the Vars people?

This is a really underappreciated series.
I feel it was overshadowed by the Gundam franchise, and didn't have a chance to catch on the way Gundam did.
