So does anyone from /asp/ know anything about this sport? It's called jai alai and I have watched a little bit of it and I think it looks fun as fuck to play. Other than seeing a couple of clips, I know absolutely nothing about it.

I could totally see this as a field day for cocaine kingpins in 1980's Miami. I bet Tony Montana had his own private jai alai court or "fronton"
I've heard that people died from playing this. It would suck to be hit with that ball, holy fuck. I saw the thing on jackass where they hurled oranges at johnny and steve o, imagine if that was the actual ball they used.
Is having shitty tattoos a prerequisite to becoming a professional wrestler? And it's usually stupid middle school shit like skulls, flames, or tribal designs. Why do they do this?
all tattoos are stupid
>>1435385
to hide their flab
Randy tatoos were the cool thing in the 00s.
Also, Cena doesnt have any tats. Or Rollins. Or Ambrose. Kane. Harper
Dump any wrestling webms/gifs you have they can be insane spots, botches, comedy moments, stiff as fuck shots, based moments and anything else you have
The reason I enjoyed Stardust is because in an era of mostly normal looking wrestlers, he was the one that reminded me of the pre 2000 era of wrestling. The gimmick and the ab libbing reminded me of what I missed about wrestling, and Cody was the star of this. Him and Goldust are so underrated and are probably the only ones who were able to write their own stuff. They even make the old guys like Kane look like a scripted mess.
>>1435250
I'd agree.
>>1435250
It was Cody's gimmick, I believe he always has a spot in WWE if he decides to come back, he might in the future.

You've summed up my own thoughts regarding Stardust perfectly.
Okay guys, I have a legit question. No shitposting.
What would wrestling in 2016 be if kayfabe had never been broken and we were all 100% invested in the product as real, legitimate competition?
Given the current WWE roster, how would the atmosphere be different if kayfabe was intact?
>Who would be champion?
>Who would be most popular with fans?
>Who would be the legitimate GOAT?
>Who would have the longest losing streak?
considering wrestling was most popular during the monday night wars, and they broke kayfabe weekly. It does not matter.
If kayfabe had never been broken, most over would be Kevin Owens probably as he would get booed to shit along with Jericho.
Most over face would be Ambrose, doesn't show his body, looks like a normal guy with shit hair, so relatable to the audience, (if Owens was a face would be the most relatable). Champion would obviously be Trips

The difference between WWE and /asp/ is that that WWE is merely watched. Airsoft, martial arts, swordfighting, longboarding, and all other stuff that's posted here was discussed by practitioners.
If anything, WWE threads should be on /tv/.
I wrestle for outlaw promotions and I post here too, arsehole. Your argument is invalid.

/tv/ thinks we're a sport. They'll want us out also

Agreed but this is where they put us. Take it up with the admins.

Current Shining Star victims:
NXT jobbers
Jack Swagger and Zack Ryder
Literally the only tag team on the main roster that is undefeated. So come to Main Event! The Shining Star...of Hulu?
Primo is actually really good in ring and fine on mic.
I guess he's loyal to Epico due to being cousins or whatnot but he'd be better off going on his own.
