How much does genetics play in brain damage in regards to boxing? Are some peoples brains more susceptible to brain damage than others?
genetics play a role in everything your body does in some way, but I would suspect in the case of brain durability the difference would be so minimal between people it wouldnt matter

I'll start. Took my first real knee (we were supposed to spar lightly but my partner messed up on this one) in the ribs in muay thai and it hurts like hell. How am I supposed to take knees? What muscles (if any) should I develop to make this less painful?

What martial art would be best for someone with a tall, slim frame? (Aside from Muay Thai, I'm already learning that)
I prefer striking, but I could use a few holds/ sweeps from other martial arts.

Someone called this a longboard and someone else told me not to try any tricks on it. Why? Is it bad that it's only curved in the back and not the front? Think I should get some hard wheels before I try to attempt tricks and stuff?

Breakdancing general.
I've recently started learning how to breakdance, and so far I know how to do : 6 step, baby freeze, turtle freeze, pilot freeze and shoulder freeze.
Are there any resources on the internet that I can use to learn how to do power moves and more advanced freezes or footwork on my own? As someone that has done a bit of body weight work, are there any breakdancing moves that I should try to learn first that bodyweight techniques have a decent carry over to?

I've just started too, youtube and vincanitv is a decent source, however I always mess up the directions when he is talking about being right handed but doing moves with his left. Otherwise just search for <move> tutorial or go straight from related videos.
Would you upload some videos of you doing stuff? I would be very interested to see beginner videos not just dancers doing tutorials.

Are any of you familiar with any of the African martial arts? I got into a debate with someone recently and he kept talking about these styles I've never heard of. I can't find very much on them and I'm sure they don't hold much relevance in modern fighting, but I'm curious about them just for the sake knowledge.
