So I got sold a 7.5 as standard deck, and I have US feet size 11.5 and realised it's a little small.
But I figure it will help me learn good balance, but can I just increase the board size to an 8 and keep the same trucks?
At least at first, then buy some more trucks later. I just don't have all that much money right now.

I know it's doable, I don't know if it's recommended. Searching says its fine, but primos will be a a pain in the ass to pull off. I'm guessing if you're a total novice, you'll have the opportunity to get matching trucks by the time you're doing something that advanced, though.

The old thread was quite nice and actually got me back into skating. Been rocking the seba fr1's for about a month now. Thanks to the anons that recommened getting them.
Anyone got a chance to test the metroblade?
I tried to pre order a pair of metroblades but they kept pushing the release date back and I really wanted to get skating. I got the twister 80 instead. Really nice skates.

Probably going to get some new blades in the future but I'm going to put my current pair through the ringer.
Luckily my wrist is healed so I can get back out again though I don't think I'm going to go back to trying anything new and just hit the streets for some speed.
