Somewhat doubt it.
What does a pro wrestlers diet consist of besides protein drinks and vitamins? Being constantly on the road, how do they avoid the temptation of gas station hot dogs and mc donalds?
>>1238317
A lot of them don't resist the temptation, they work out enough it doesn't matter all that much.
>>1238317
I think Chipotle is popular among wrestlers.
Any place that serves chicken breasts.
Anyone here into airsoft? If so post your loadout and tell your favorite gametype. Also if use field or cqc type weapons.

Russian MVD 106th special purpose unit. Pretty simple kit once you know what to buy. Russian K6-3 helmet, Gorka E in Partizan, Kazak-6 body armor and an AK Smersh vest. I run a E&L AK74M and a WE Makarov PMM. Planning to get the ASP OTs 03 SVU once it comes out.

>No massively swoll Al Snow acting like a goof for kids entertainment.
Seriously, he wasn't edgy enough for attitude or ruthless aggression, but PG would be perfect for him.
Seriously how have they not booked him? Just look at this shit:

It took him 15 years, but he finally has a main eventer body.
Shame all people remember him as is a jobber with a prop. Literally ran a group called the J.O.B. squad. If he came back and restarted the squad to get underappreciated talent some light, that's amazing.

Christ he looks twice as big as his attitude run. He juicing?
>>1238068
Nope. All natty, bro.
Why don't kenjutsu guys practice free sparring?
>>1237956
Some styles do. The reason you see styles that do not are manifold and somewhat complex
The oldest kenjutsu schools were founded in the sengoku, at the time the shinai had not been invented and the bokken was the closest thing to a safety weapon they had. A duel or sparring match with a bokken will not necessarily end in death or injury, but it significantly raises the odds of that.
kata training allowed a way to past down essential information about timing, distancing and techniques with a modicum of safety.
Once things like the shinai were invented they took awhile to catch on. Musashi famouly criticized their use in the book of five rings. At first were used for "duels" or to do kata at higher intensity, It was about 1700, that some teachers grew dissatisfied with the lack of real experience from wars and duels, and decided to use mock armor and bamboo swords as a substitute.
While conservatives criticized the new form of training as unrealistic, it became extremely popular and was in fact the norm during the 19th century. styles that did not engage in such training tended to be rural styles, often preserving the older ways of fighting from the sengoku. In Edo and other urban centers, the abilty to win in matches with shinai is what often made or broke an instructor.
The emphasis on shinai sparring let to some trends which are still viewed negatively in kenjutsu circles today. People used extra long shinai and techniques which would be difficult or impossible with a real sword.
After the fights of the boshin and seinen wars, and the formation of the meiji government, kenjutsu went into sharp decline. It evetually saw a revival and was adapted for police training. The popular edo styles that manage to survive led the way in this. eventually the butokukai was established and standardized rules and kata were put into place. Many of the popular schools adopted these standards and became part of kendo.
>>1240504
The styles that did not do shiai, or resisted standardization, AND somehow survived are the ones you see today. Some of them only survive as preservation societies, others still train very hard, even taking risks in training, and their methods are very effective and viable, The attitude towards free sparring varies between them.

Who is Benoit?
>>1237673
Christopher Michael "Chris" Benoit (French pronunciation: [bəˈnwa]; May 21, 1967 – June 24, 2007) was a Canadian professional wrestler. During his 22-year career, Benoit worked for numerous major promotions including Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE). Benoit committed suicide after perpetrating the murder of his family.

>Shane is going against the insane odds of Undertaker at Mania
>No Mean Street Posse to back him up
Seriously, these dudes work for a paper company now and would be totally down for a quick storyline and run seeing how they still compete in independant circles.
Why would they not use Shane's personal army of rich muscle pricks(with the best theme ever) from the past to even the scales?
>Middle aged lower midcarders from 15 years ago in a Wrestlemania marquee match
Back the fuck off from the cocaine
>>1237458
Its not like they're in the match
I'm sure in the last interview they had with them they were willing to come back
>>1237458
>Undertaker is 51
>Shane is 46
>Mean Street are all 45
>Would give some canonical tension for Shane having some chance at all against Taker
>Would also make Taker look great because he could wail on 3 massive dudes and still come out on top.
Dudes don't look back even today, pic related. Just imagine the pop after Shane running and climbing on top of the cage when the Mean street music cued and they rush in and tear down the gate together and gang up on taker.
And then with Shane actually running raw they could continue their bodyguard roles and act as enforcers for Shane to compensate for their less than stellar ring abilities (or at least from what I can remember in 2001, never seen them recently independent, they might be better)
Today I completely forgot he was dead. Why the fuck did Vince bury him so much? He was a legit great technical wrestler.
He was used and trusted to put on good matches
He had a very bad back injury that kept him out a year + while in WWF.
Probably didn't trust he could hold up
