Thoughts on bloggers predicting Lesnar vs Goldberg for Wrestlemania 32? Bill Goldberg is 49 and hasn't wrestled a proper match in almost 12 years.

Why aren't there any styles designed around fighting off animal attacks?
>>840445
there are it called grappling
every dog attack and bear attack won by a human has been through grappling.
Last one recorded was 9 year old boy with 2 months of BJJ training choked pit bull to death that was mauling 12 year old girl.

having a hard time finding the other ones, but there was another one. high school wrestler slams pit bull and was sued by owner.

>every dog attack and bear attack won by a human has been through grappling.
Actually, it's been won by superior strategizing, and advanced technological weaponry.
One of the earliest of the technological advancements made and used by our ancestors is the pointy stick.
It's killed many a non-human animal.
I'm sure that if you ask around /b/ for long enough, you'll find some videos, gifs, and webms of non-human animals succumbing to the superior strategies...

as much as I want to retch at that gif, I did some research first. There is really not a more humane reason for them to not be ground to death.
And people will lambaste the chicken farmers for providing cheap chicken and eggs to everyone. The cheap part being the key to why this happens.
How do I into airsoft? there aren't really any nice places to play or stores near me but I'm pretty interested.

I'm pretty sure you'll find more airsoft commandos in /k/ considering that board is full of wannabes.
Well considering this just happened over at /k/ i'm not really sure we're to go.
Anybody here like yo-yos? What's your favorite format (1A, 2A, etc.)?
I'm just starting out, about to buy my first one since I was a kid. Thinking about learning 2A and getting a couple of pic related to throw around.
Anyway, yo-yo general.
(Competitive yo-yo is a sport.)
>>839364
Yo yo threads never get a lot of attention
I want to get into 2a but it's best to have a solid 1a foundation
Have you seen the yoyojam classic? It's a good inexpensive yoyo
>>839576
I haven't played with it. It's a butterfly shape, right? So it's good for 1a play? I'll look into it.
I can't get a yo-yo until probably after Christmas anyway because there are no stores nearby that focus on yo-yos, and I can't buy one online until I can get to the bank to deposit a check, then order it and wait for it to arrive. In the meantime, I'm watching unboxing videos like a weirdo, and reading as much as I can about yo-yos, how to take care of them, and so on.

>>852917
Because the dealer wants your cock
>>852920
Just a tip though.
Because there's a second pair on the table? It's not that hard; the 5 cards are called community cards for a reason. You're allowed to use any three of the 5 cards to complete your hand, whether they match the cards in your hand or not.

What does /asp/ think about Krav Maga?
>>853396
I used to do it for 6 or 7 years or so. It's pretty fun.
They basically teach you how to get out of a fight in a fast way. So you get releases from most grappling grips, put you in situations with multiple opponents where your goal is not to get dragged into a 2vs1 or 3v1 fight so you have to keep moving, weapon disarms against knives, bats and guns. Where I trained they also did 1 vs 1 sparring, but I heard that's not universal.
Just like most martial arts it's pretty specialized in what...

To add. I also had a military trainer who loved his knife drills. So we also learned to block and attack with a knife and knife takedowns. But I don't think that's part of the regular civilian curriculum.
>>853454
Sounds great, Does it make sense to start with it, if the training is just once in a week?
why did you stop training krav maga?
any advice for a beginner?
