Asteroid mining. Pretty much all future space vehicles will be constructed in space, and you can make massive profits if you're able to source the materials for these projects.

Hey /biz/, how long do you think it's going to take until Theranos is bankrupt?
>>1168272
they have a sound business model with great marketting and positive cash flow.
the promised product that bankrolled the company does not exist as it is impossible. as it turns out, you need to actually draw a set amount of arterial blood as with a standard blood sample in order to get an accurate and meaningful result. its just the laws of physics. no handful of magic beans is going to change that.
they're still one of the largest testing companies in america and they have a massive market share.

Within the year.

This article says otherwise with regards to their market share:

Sup /biz/ recently had this idea pop into my head. I know a lot of people are doing this already, but hey, hear me out.
There's a lot of buzzing going around phone app development. What if you find someone that needs an app developed, but you hire some indian programmer to do it for you?
For ex. Someone would pay you 2000$ to develop an app, but u can find an Indian guy that would do it for 500$(he doesn't know that you're getting 2000$ ofc.)
Literally thought of this while struggling to fall asleep. I know a lot of people are doing this...

..... so start a software company? There are thousands of companies that do this you fucking retard. This has been going on since the 1960s.
>>1168088
I am not talking about a company, I am talking about buying cheap labor and selling it for some nice profit.
Yes there are software companies, but why are people still looking for freelancers then?
>>1168096
Do you have any programming experience at all? If you did I don't think you'd ask these questions

>>1167795
They're giving you another chance to apply for another position. So, yes, in a way, you did get rejected.
>>1167799
Are you sure i got rejected? Because on the website you cant even apply for the job i wanted. It was on a craigslist posting. Not to mention I called and told them my background, asked if u need prior experience and it sounded like a go
Bump, how do I reply to this email?

Thanks for the nice story. I hope you'll remember all the recent grads on your way up.

How many shares do I issue, and at what price?
Is a shareholder's agreement necessary (the directors will be myself and 2 friends of mine)?
Am I in over my head or do I just need to educate myself more first?
>>1167509
Oh and to add, would we need 100% of our statement of capital when setting it up, if we have no current plans to transfer our shares?
>>1167509
>UK
Not sure. In the US you just have to say how many shares are available and who your executives are. Shareholders agreement could be very helpful regardless. Honestly, just cough of the cash to get a lawyer to walk you through it.
>>1167567
My main query was whether I needed to actually finance my initial shares (since it's unlikely I'll have the money)
I'll consider that though thanks
Welp, quit my job when I only have a month's worth of finances left. How fucked am I?
>>1167429
Why would you quit without having another job or savings?
>>1167429
i bet you quit because ur an emotional little bitch. a job is a means for survival, in the end, so u need to be able to tough out anything. its ur own fault. i pray that you get a job within this next month, god help u my friend
>>1167429
You're not alone, I've done the exact same thing in the beginning of March.
Use this opportunity to start something better, do something you enjoy, something that will make you happy.
Good luck
I'm 28, live alone in the US, make 20k a year, but spend almost all of it on taxes, food and rent. The rest goes into savings/stocks.
I recently got an emergency procedure done at a hospital and I owe a little over $40,000. (No insurance)
I only have about 15k in savings and it took my entire life to save that.
Is my life officially over?
Hide your savings in meme coins (untraceable) and tell the hospital to fuck off and don't pay for it.
>>1167401
thanks, I needed a good laugh right now.
wouldn't it be safer to just put my money under my mattress (per se) and lie about having it?
No.
A few things could happen.
You'll pay this debt
You'll finance this debt over time and pay it off slow.
you'll have to default on this debt. You'll settle for pennies on the dollar.
You'll not pay them a cent and they may collect something if they have recourse on your credit score.
You'll file for bankruptcy. ch11 redo the debt and make 2 years payments.
best bet is probably settlement ahead of time. but get whatever credit offerings you can before you file for settlement.
Just call and say...

Is there any money in porn? Why is it still made while everybody watches it for free?
>>1167360
the money is made mostly though advertising and you would be surprised how many idiots pay money for subscriptions
>>1167360
Not nearly as much as people think.
Porn is a low effort market that attracts felons, white trash and shady jews. It's flooded since all of those groups are pretty large.

>jacking off to the same ten 30-second grainy video segments doesn't
Is it worth majoring in Economics versus Finance or Accounting?
Economics kind of seems like a meme broad subject but stats seem to show it's among the most highly paid.
What kind of jobs can Econ majors get generally? How do they differ from those that Financefags do?
Economics major here
I have sweet credentials and am about to graduate, but I'm anxious and terrified about not lining up a job before I graduate.
Lol. A masters in finance can be summed up on like 5 pages. Its is just a meme.
