What is the best way to gain monetary value from the immigration situation in Europe?

With the internal strife from the possible Brexit and the mas distability surging in Germany and Sweden, there has been far right activist demonstration and police officers have started to quit jobs en masse.

History has shown, that times of strife can be very profitable to the right people.

I believe that house prices might fall tremendously in urban areas, as well as home security might be way more lucrative in the near future.

TLDR: Any ideas how to turn a profit on Europe getting raped ?

I guess there will be opportunities for cheap unskilled labour if you want to be a gang master.

You are right in some way e.g that the house prices will fall but this change will set in over time. I would recommend focusing on the immediate problems the refugees are facing. Theres a pletora of unsatisfied brown men out there so why dont you go out there and perform fellatio on them in exchange for money
>>
I don't know how prices can drop. Demand far outstrips supply.

As most complex jobs are going to be automated or very easy I bet creative jobs are going to be most payed. For example product designers as those people are responsable to invent something new or better which you have to do manually.

Engineers that design shit, really entrepreneurs, but, for complex things that need to be resolved, engineers

Anyone here have any advice for a dumb international biz student who would love to work in the video game's industry?

I know, I know, video games. But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't my passion. I'm specifically looking for advice from anyone who has worked in analytics, marketing, producing, finance or anything else business-related in an entertainment media field. Next year I'll be a Junior and aiming at an internship or two to get my feet wet and see what I do or don't enjoy. I'm currently working night audit at a hotel, fast food before that, and I volunteer on the side all in an effort to build my resume.

I actually think movies are a integral part of modern society because it teaches us a lot about different life scenarios.

Before you scoff, take this example: Can you identify what a prison looks like?

You probably can, despite never having been in a prison, or police station. Picture books might teach us a little, but not to the depth that movies have. Expand it to factories, which I also have never been inside, or space stations/satellites which I have never seen in person.

I would say that movies play a HUGE part in unifying society and opening us up to different aspects of life that we would definitely never have seen otherwise.

In world terms, probably. But language learning is more of a necessity and less of a matter of culture there.

I have this idea which is probably hard to accomplish. Neural net trained software where you upload a girls picture with clothes on and the software will remove the clothes. Creates a nude picture of the girl taking in account the skin, hair color, the angle she is in.

Mow lawns
Seriously man, I started doing it 5 years ago when I was 14, I'm 19 now, and I Make 4 times more hourly than anyone of my friends. I'm making 40 bucks an hour cutting grass, while they make 10 an hour. If you need experience and knowledge, go on YouTube, tons of people there have videos showing you how to do it. Other than mowing lawns I don't know what else, sell candy in school? Babysitting? Do errands for people? Lawns was my answer, but theres a million things you can do to make money, you just need to put the time in to Make it work

How to Become A Computer Systems Analyst?

Does anyone know how long/path to take to get to this job?

I am currently thinking about switching to the MIS program in my school (School of Business at my University is top 25, top 5 in New England, and top 25 for MIS in the nation) but I am not 100% sure of the path to get to this job, but it seems appealing to me.

Any suggestions?

MIS seems pretty cool, a lot of database and thin client programming study. Not really sure how the move to the cloud affects this job, maybe its more in vogue, but there's hardly any MIS majors at my biz college and a fuck ton of accountants. Biz students are retarded with computers, I think thats why MIS can start off with nice salaries for a 4 year degree.
>>
take a 2 or 3 year college program with internships. easy
>>
>>1291787
I think there is still applications even with the cloud as you also work the business side of how people interact with computers, so setting up stuff and helping with that. And for me, I only heard of 2 MIS majors through a full year even when I had about 8 classes of 30+ kids with ice breakers and it was filled with marketing/accounting majors. And for computer aspect, I feel that way as well as many of the kids in my classes are not as smart as I feel they should be for a good school

How achievable is it to make a living or get rich playing poker?
9 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>1291763
you either have the gift or you don't
>>
>>1291763
There are a ton of factors. Its not impossible to make a living playing poker but its not as linear a path as you might think. Professional players excel in different areas. Some might be good at math and probability, others might be good at reading people and picking up tells and others might win just by being ultra agressive and ballsy. Most have combinations of traits and skills that allow them to have an edge, which is all you really need to win. You may sit down at a house game and clean house but then go to the Bicycle Club poker room in LA and get mopped up by rounders that practically live there. The trick is to determine your skill level and play games where you arent going to consistently be outplayed. Remember, if you cant spot the fish at the table, its probably you.

The only real way to tell if you have what it takes is to eat, sleep, poker. Some people just dont have what it takes even with years of practice. Its not just about learning pot odds, positioning, bet sizes, table image, opponent play style and card ranges. Those can be picked up by studying the game. There are some things that cant be taught in books like how well you play under pressure, the ability to keep concentration for long periods of time, intuition, extreme patience, and controlling your body language and facial expressions. Either you have it or you dont. You wont know unless you give it a shot.

Are you 1 in 100?

You'll need to be that 1% if you wanna make it.

I work for an oil company and we are praying we can get better than 50 for our WTI. Hedging team has been having many meetings. Investment bank is doing the deals for us because they finance us. We want to do caps and collars because the boss can tell investors they are "costless collars" (One side pays for the other...) but in the oil business there is nothing that is "costless". Of course, if oil prices go above the cap we've got to pay the bank the excess over the cap. We don't get billed until we owe over $1 million above the cap.

How long can you pay an employee under the table for?

> I recently hired someone and setting up the payroll and all that shit has turned out to be a major pain in the ass. Plus I think the guy is gonna last like 6 months tops. And I'd rather just avoid the taxes and avoid the potential unemployment claim. Is there any risk to just paying this guy cash for 6 months?

Google loves to give you page after page of scare tactics, "OMG don't do it, the IRS will crush your balls in a vice!"

>>1291569
If you're afraid of him claiming unemployment it's retarded to hire him off the books. What if he goes in to make that claim then they have some trouble figuring it out so he explains to them he was paid off the books for six months?

My dad keeps buying shitty beater cars for like 2-4K and whenever they break down just putting 200-500 to fix them for a couple months enstead of just buying a new one. This has gone on for a couple years now. How do I tell him he is stupid? I've already told him I would buy him a brand new car, and he suggested me to buy a cheap car to save money.

>>
Buying a new car is just as dumb, unless you have the money to burn. The best option is a less than 6 year old car with less than 70k miles or so
>>
That's like buying $10 boots that last 2 months because it's "cheaper" than the $100 pair that lasts 5 years
