No, you should have invested it in the stock market after it bottomed out. Gold would have made sense if you had cash reserves in GBP or Euro and you bought it before Thursday.

Recently starting out and would like to know some advice as well

Don't know why the mods shut your old thread OP, the sticky is garbage and doesnt help one bit

I deleted it because a wall of text isn't really the best way to grab people, easier with green text and bullet points to grab someone skimming.

If anyone had useful advice on how to beat the market they wouldn't be on /biz/ offering it for free.

There are no tricks. You learn how to control yourself and hedge your bets. Literally all there is to it.

What is the most economical way to sell a one year old car?
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Put up a CL ad and an Autotrader ad.

Between the two you should be able to sell it between 2 and 4 weeks.

If you take it to a dealer they are gonna rape you in the $2k to $4k range.
>>
>>1335187
This. Your best bet is to go through as few middlemen as possible. Don't trade in at a dealership and definitely don't go somewhere like CarMax. Those guys will take thousands off the value of your car.

Also if you aren't planning on driving cars for more than a year at a time you will save money on your payments by leasing it.
>>
Place ads in a middle to upper class neighborhood. It's car season for recent graduats and some parent would love to get a deal on a car that's like new (assuming you didn't put 30k+ miles as an Uber driver or something)

Why did the EU remnants get hammered worse than the UK?

Because the entire EU experiment has been put into play. Their wagon is hitched to a failing institution.

Uncertainty. Equities on the continent are more front loaded in that way. Plus Italy and Span both have referendums/elections coming up in the next couple weeks. People are just scared.

Give it time for UK equities to drop too. Once this all starts to set in it's going to catch up with them quickly.
