Is it too late to transition into the business world? Should I just be happy sticking with the government as a member/GS employee and not risk it trying to get a better job? Working contracting civilian side is absolutely cutthroat.
Coincidentally, if anyone has any general government contracting questions I'll answer them. It's actually a great way to get work for your startup small business if you know how to angle your pitch and where to find contracts.

The company I work for is getting bought out by a larger competitor and my ESPP shares are being bought out.
I'll be getting around 35k USD.
I have a 401k as well with about 26k in it and 12k in a savings account.
My question is what do I do with the ESPP money? Any other advice?

Working with him is the problem. I already told him I would gladly refund it if he were to ship it undamaged. He sends me one email a day. So constant communication is difficult. He already requested the refund on amazon though. I'm just not sure what to do just yet.
