Why do people gamble in Casinos?
I understand that it's fun but wouldn't it be more logical to trade FOREX or buy some pennystocks after doing research on them? - That way you still have the elements of "fun", "luck" and "a chance to strike it big" but also have much higher chances getting lucky from stocks than from the roulette table.
As in why don't people instead of gambling away thousands just take aside some spare money they do not care about, let's say $5k-10k and then try their best to make money with it without the emotional aspect attached and then if they lose, say Ok whatever and not care?

Safe assumption. Did so last year and no issue, but I have read that this year was supposed to be different. My guess is that the government is mostly talk and will not push the issue. The more we pay in penalties, the more the ACA looks like a failure and tax on the middle class.
If a dependent you claim didn't have insurance for that year, my understanding is that you will get "fined", which will just be a deduction from your tax refund.
My dad got all pissed at me for not getting health insurance when I was 18 because of this. It's like, fuck off, if you're going to claim me then its your responsibility that I'm insured, don't act like its my problem.

Go to a consulting firm. Personal experience: Accenture hires a lot of supply chain, logistics types. I spent about two years with them(diff. field though). Well worth the time for the job experience alone, and if you cozy up to the client enough maybe they will poach you to become an FTE.
