It's not a safe bet at all, and it has nothing to do with whether oil continues to fall.
USO will only be profitable if oil makes a significant move during the current month's contract. There is always price decay when the contract rolls over the next month. So USO will lose money in any period where:
-Oil goes down over any time frame
-Oil stays flat over any time period
-Oil goes up on a month-to-month basis by less than the difference between the prior month futures contract and the current month futures contract
USO is not "investing in oil". It's making a short term bet that oil will rise before the current futures contract expires.

i have many questions about this. for my background, i live in florida and have only access to UPS to ship.

Transferring to a university after my gen eds are done at my current community college.
I now have two options, I wanted to major in compsci and go to school in state in IL.
My first option is to just go to uni here, and rack up probably 50k in loans.

do normal uni. apply for financial aid, federal work study, scholarships, etc. Be frugal. There are lots of scholarships for community college transfers. I got a 5000 dollar one for just having above a 3.0. Make connections with people to increase chances of jobs later. Get a job during school and use money to pay loans.

Hey /biz/ , a bit of a weird question but that's really holding me back. So how do you stay focused and don't lose concentration? I know what I have to do and how to do it but I just get distracted all the time, I can't seem to be able to focus on something in particular and even if I do I lose interest quickly when I see that I can do that shit. For example my hobbie was fashion, I was super interested in all the fabrics, the textures of the garments and so on. But I started a small business selling designer clothing and while I do admire the craftsmanship I don't really feel....engaged with all that, I feel that I know everything there is to know about the industry ( even though it's not like that probably) and I kinda lost interest in that. Now there is another field I want to develop in and I just can't focus enough to do all the necessary research and learn all the stuff needed and so on. So any help?
