Explain this Nocioners meme
Buy Eth? I'm not retarded I can read prices and trends, but just getting into this wat do?

Want to get into the /biz/iness but don't know exactly how, don't want to mine as I don't see it being profitable with my halfway shit computer with a 4 year old GPU and moderately high energy costs.
So, is the way to go just investing in coins, wait... resell and reinvest?

Also how get money back? Can't buy much with crypto yet, how get to USD.

business requires effort, mining unprofitable for small guys.. only option: buy and trade coins

Buy dips and sell on bull markets

Profits assured

I understand this, what my concern is how exactly do I buy and sell without getting shit on by fees for buying, selling, trading, and cashing out?
Example, in another thread guy had to go through shapeshift to convert eth to btc, then exchangemycoins to get btc to usd in paypal, lots of fees, big loss or is that really the only way?
>>
>>1318093
some exchanges offer modest fees. But the bottom line: dont sell or buy, unless you can recoup your fee costs during the volatility swings

Should i regret why i chose accountancy rather than other courses as what i thought it's easier than engineer with the same salary...i'll be 3rd year college next school year thinking to shift

Hey guys, im a beginner looking for a good online broker to use. I'm currently considering Tradeking. It's cheap with a lot of choices so i thought it would be nice for a beginner like me to play around. i know it's got shitty iPhone app but i don't plan to check it like every 5 min on phone and plan to check on laptop mostly. Besides that i was considering Scottrade or Fidelity.

What are your thoughts on these? i would greatly appreciate any tips. thanks in advance guys

I use tradeking as my main broker. Like you said, It's pretty good, as it has a lot of options and low trading fees. Their app is kinda shitty, but they do have really good Web interface for trading (tradeking live). They are pretty good for options, shorting, and margin trading/investing. Haven't used the others brokers.

I have an idea for a website where people can anonymously sell insider information. Insider trading is incredibly risky if you get caught, but if you sold insider info anonymously no one would know it was you.

Basically people sell insider info for BTC. The BTC are held and released to the seller if the information is proven true within a time frame, otherwise returned to the buyer.

The website takes a small fee for every sale.

Thoughts?

> make various fake insider claims that are possible but not confirmed in any way
> I get sweet btc when they turn out to be true

> its anonymous so I can do it over and over again

great plan anon!

In effect, ot would be more like an investment advisor site that you after the predictions are correct and thus is a win-win for everyone

Good luck

Not to hijack your thread or anything, but I've got this idea for an app that caters to people in long distance relationships.

It's called "Fingr."

Basically the girl takes a picture of her cooter and sends it to the guy. She then holds the phone up to her nanner while the guy diddles the picture (touchscreen bruh) and it makes her phone vibrate.

It's cool though.

I'm currently making my own, called Kotori OS

Hey fellas, how ya doing?

So, quick tl;dr of my current situation

I'm about to receive an offer letter from a company in Los Angeles, it's an entry level management position.

The thing is, I'm not from the US and never have lived in the US... I've been to California sometimes but stayed 2 weeks at most.

What's an acceptable salary? I know you guys are payed yearly - I expect to receive my money monthly as it is how I receive it currently.

How much am I looking to spend on rent? Food / Monthly homestuff?

After paying everything, how much is a good "I can live with this" value for a life in the US?

Since the company usually pays for everything when I'm over I don't concern much about these kinda of things

Thanks in advance, /biz/. Have a stock photo for laughts

Who the fuck receives their pay at the end of the month/year?

Where the fuck are you from?
>>
>>1317175

I'm from Brazil, bro.

It's salary, usually payed in the last day of the month. All my bills are set for the 10th of the next month so I have a little buffer.

It's actually quite common here (mostly the norm)
>>
>>1317173

> Living in LA

You need to be making at least $50k a year to get by in California. The cost of living is high as fuck.

And I'd say really between $60k - $70k to be comfortable.

If they are paying you anything less than $45k a year I would not make the move.

Name a more bad ass character. its just not possible.

What do you think about Degiro? I've been day trading for a while, but the commision eats too much of my profit. Does anyone have some experience with it?

>>1317054
I like Degiro even though their layout is god awful, probably the cheapest broker in scandinavia. However I doubt they are suitable for daytrading, I dont think they offer any other trading platforms/softwares.
>>
I also live in Scandinavia, and the brokers here are really expensive compared to Degiro. I think I'll put a little amount of money in there and play around a little. I read something about a mobile app, but I haven't checked it out yet.

I'm mostly scared about not really owning the stocks, but them holding it for me. It sounds a bit suspicious.

It's my broker so I'll give you my opinion.
It's CHEAP as fuck, I mean extremely cheap - go read their fees but god damn is their plataform shitty. The orders are put quick as fuck and it all works 100% but the plataform itself is so so bad, so convoluted and badly organized, the charting equipment is the worst I've seen too. So my advice to you is open a Degiro account and trade with it but do your charting and price checking and basically everything else at another place, use Degiro strictly for buying and selling. Also they don't have a mobile (or desktop) app, it's all on their website, the desktop version is alright but their mobile one is god awful too. The fees make up for it tho, 90% cheaper than everything else. GL

Bros!!! Check out my idea for a website that helps the average guy get involved in the movie business:

A movie usually gets made by a production company that finances the film....What if there was a 21st century way of doing this?

How about a website that users will use to pitch their own ideas to production studios?

For an idea to start from a basic premise to the finalized send-off point, the user's idea will pass a series of checkpoint goals (having a story board finalized, having a basic screenplay written, having a director's input, etc.). After the user's idea passes a series of checkpoints, the finalized idea will be sent off to the website's administrators, who'll then directly submit it to all available production studios.

The website's layout will allow contributing screenwriters, artists, animators, directors, etc. to have their own dedicated pages, where the user can easily navigate to and connect with to flesh out the film idea. Working with the site's contributors will be free of charge for the basic template, though users can spend money to expand the content of their film idea (more pages for the screenplay, more pages for the storyboard, etc). Users will also be able to spend in a variety of other ways to help boost the idea's appeal.

I've yet to determine how the site's contributes will be paid, perhaps either commission or a base pay of sorts. Perhaps every time the contributor works on a certain number of projects, the contributor would get paid by the website, or

There'll be a system where users can vote on film ideas, to help boost a film's position in a popularity ranking system, which will be used to help receive donations from others to help fund projects.

Tell me what you think guys. One of the things right off the bat that I need to figure out, is how to retain the users that aren't actively involved in working on making a film.

Well at least you expanded the idea since your last thread. Try keeping the vote system in, seems good. The hard part is getting actual good scripts, since this'll be filled to the brim with shit and have a few gems. Take idea's from linked in and facebook since it's basically that. I suggest you get invested in first for ad revenue since if it builds slowly it'll be filled with shit from total hacks

Don't do this, when you drink coffee regularly you'll very quickly end up feeling exactly the same as you normally would have after having coffee and worse before you do.
You're better off just not having regular coffee.

Rate my portfolio, /biz/.

Smith & Wesson did well today. Picked up the third GOOGL today while they're cheap.

Everything is looong.
