hahaha fucking shit they have finally done it
Wow dude your really making ALOT of cash there. Couple of more weeks and a little boot and you'll be able to buy 2 whole bitcoins.
ITT: We help each other make something good out of our shitty degree choices.
An example: I got a degree in business administration, with a heavy focus on accounting. It sucks. No jobs. I'll complement it by taking a one year master in international tax law from a prestigious university (I've checked and my grades are good anough to get in).
Post your own poor decisions, and great solutions. We will make yuuge progress and make ourselves great again.

I sold my Psych degree as one in stats and research design, and my sister did the same with a sociology degree. It works with any degree in the soft sciences as long as you can back it up in the interview.
>>1337654
How does that work? Are there a lot of statistics in those kinds of subjects?
I got a degree in German & Italian in the UK. I'm probably going to get a 2.2 (2.5-3.0 GPA)
There's no redeeming factor
It's all ogre for me famalam
I've been thinking of just trying meme advice like getting Accounting qualifications or learning to code
So I'm getting recruited by a competitor of my current company where I make $70k. They really want me as my skills are directly applicable to their projects. I would have to move across country. Average good pay for my skills/exp is like upper 70s at that company (cost of living difference negligible). How high of a number do you think I can request? I think I can make a good case for at least high 80s, but considering the circumstances of them approaching me I wonder if I may be able to hit six figgys , but I dont want to scare them away.
I would be surprised they are scared away by your initial request. They will likey come back with a lower offer, and you will have one more opportunity for a sum higher than theirs but lower than your initial ask.

>my skills
what skills specifically?
>>1344277
A particular set of skills
Post your winnings and losings since Brexit Day. I'll start sold my AVP day 1 for 10% gain, bought AMD day 2 and made and it is up 10%
>>1344205
Fuck. I was going to invest in AMD at $4.66 yesterday. The stock is high now but mid day it will probably be back at low $4s.
I haven't bought any stocks during Brexit because of how volatile and unpredictable everything has been.
>>1344205
2% gains selling after brexit. Bought on monday, now up 0,01%.
>>1344213
Sorry, I mean, selling on the day of the vote.

A lot of us here are degree qualified, experienced, and hungry for success, but just not a part of the right project or team. That could change right now. We have a great opportunity here, in the form of the board itself, to meet talented people with diverse attitudes and skills, who could come together online and collaborate on a number of projects/ideas with the goal of creating something career shaping. The cost/benefit ratio is very strong as we stand to lose only time and energy at the worst, but could become part of a team project in which we may find personal and financial success. I'm sure a lot of us have great ideas for businesses and/or projects, but lack the right people to work with, or perhaps lack the capital, or whatever the case etc. So why not at least form a discussion group where we could share our qualifications/skills/etc, get talking to one another, and team up with one another. If we get some traction in this thread, I'll set up a forum where we can get organized.
Personally, I did my bachelor of business with a major in finance, along with some units in advertising, marketing & management, then went on to co-found a software startup which did some good work, had some success with attracting minor investors, being featured on a handful of respected industry media sites etc. The project died down for a number of reasons, so I went on to do biz dev & marketing consulting for a blockchain consultancy. So I have a fair grasp on getting digital projects off the ground and heading in the right direction. I also have a number of ideas for apps and startups that are marketable and have solid potential to see ROI.
I'm keen to team up with people who have broad and niche business skills, as well as programmers/software developers, engineers - basically people who can work with a product in the digital space.
How about you /biz/?
>>1343746
>blahblah talent blahblah achive gr8 things m8 blahblah
You're on a vietnamese 12 fps animated cartoon board faggot
Before asking or writing this shit you need to do one thing.
Get some form of organization going. Link at least some fucking irc or skype group before posting blog pasta
>>1343754
That's irrelevant. This place is just a meeting point. A lot of people here make six figures and have masters degree, even more have undergrads and no direction in life. This place is prime territory for recruiting people.

It'll be even better for you when the pound falls to £2 for every $1
>>1343669
That'll never happen. I don't think it'll fall bellow $1.20 even on the day we officially leave in 2018, but I can hope so.

you're welcome m8
Where does one learn technical analysis or fundamental analysis? Which one should I learn? Are they even worth learning or are stocks truly unpredictable?
>>1343590
""""""""""technical analysis"""""""""
>>1343598
Excellent contribution thank you.
>>1343590
you don't need analysis, it's all a meme.
stocks cannot be predicted with maths.
you can only have a look at what's happening
Dear /biz/, I'm a -recent- tip earning individual, making and additional ~$1000 monthly to my hourly wage in cash. Now the question is How do I make the best of my money? Also, Keeping the IRS away from auditing me while maximizing the money I keep; so I can count this as income that I can use towards expenses like rent.
>>1343330
You could always just pay taxes on it. Put it as other income on your taxes. If you are selling drugs you can even write off your product if you use schedule c
>>1343432
Well, I'm just a simple doorman at a hotel. I've been reporting ~8% of it. So you're saying I should just go on and report the 100%?
This is why I dont tip.
I'm a hardworking finance student, but also pretty uncreative. I have to do an independent study project, but have no idea what to write about.
So /biz/, what would be some good topics that I could research and write at least 10 pages on regarding business or finance or economics? If any of you did one of these, what did you write about?

In Alaska they are, for the first time, thinking about using the permanent fund, our oil trust fund, to run government. Since oil prices have fallen so far. Our revenue fell from 8 billion in 2013 to 1.2 billion this year. So the idea is to take 5.25% of the fund and use it for government every year to get off of the ups and downs of oil price fluctuations (90% of our revenue is from oil). But the annual oil dividend comes (all Alaskans get $2,000 a year from oil money) from the same fund. And there isn't enough...

the bread crust tie and chick wine really complete that look.
write about cryptocurrency and how it compares to gold in terms of value in relation to economic collapse of major markets.
>>1343309
Not OP but this seems interesting. Facts and figures please. I tried doing some research, but it seems like this isn't a topic that's widely covered.
Also, if you could provide us some information that isn't readily available from Googling, that'd be great. Thanks in advance
I just had a million dollar idea. I mean, an idea that would spread like wildfire because normies would eat it up. I have no idea how to make it happen though, what do?
>>1343285
Make it happen.
Come back when you're not high.
>>1343285
Read this and imagine yourself to be a person who doesn't know the idea. How does it feel? There is no way anyone could give you advice.
You could at least say if it is a digital product, a service or a physical product... for starters.
Not promoting or whatever lmfao I just don't have the money to invest at the moment but can see obvious profit ahead from a stock I've been watching for awhile.
ASX: TNG
buy in @0.12
sell within next couple of weeks or 2 months when it goes back up to 0.14
that's $800 profit if you buy $5000 worth after brokerage fee's.
tell me where the fault is
>there is no fault
Buy the dip fuckheads
>>1343223
on my watchlist too mate, didn't notice the dip though
>>1343283
will come again... maybe, how much are you planning on investing into this stock?
any others on your watch list? GXY had a huge increase today I know someone who bought in at 0.455
>>1343223
>TNG
what is it with you cunts and penny stocks? most of the companies shilled on here don't have two cents to rub together and are plugging holes in their budgets by issuing shares.
I feel we're coming to war, whether it be on a small scale (towns or otherwise) or a large scale.
Everyone is looking for an opportunity to capitalize on the EU, I'm thinking it will come via the most lethal weapon technology widely available, I assume it's a non-lethal market like mace/bats/tazers, what are some good companies to invest in that deal their weapons in the EU?
volkswagen
China and Russia are already having a cyber war against USA
If there's a war, it'll be a civil war in USA. That's probably why UN is policing there now
>>1343055
Buy stock in Rheinmetall, BAE Systems, Rockwell Collins, and Boeing. If the war does come, they'll be making out like bandits.
Also, war bonds.
Is this a good deal on kneepads?
http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/product/hinged-ultra-comfort-knee-pads-58030.aspx?&wpc=BLK&tall=N&
You dont really need ultra comfort.
too much added value. you can buy cheaper pads that don't really reduce the number of loads you can swallow in a day.
These are for the overachiever who's putting in 12 hour days.
A bit expensive, wait a couple days for the $KNPD to go down a bit. I think they will hit a dip soon. Be aware they are releasing another color soon so the price will be through the roof in the next couple days.
