I need your wizdom, /biz/,

>be me
>graduate with a bachelors in a meh tier subject from a meh tier university
>get a breddy gud job at a government agency, learn actual hard skills with market value, start a career
>in a year or two I will have enough experience to go into consulting
>but, now I have been offered the option of taking a two-year-masters degree in a much better subject from an almost ivy-league school

Should I take this education? Is it worth two years just to get the degree when I already have a career going? Will my current degree haunt me unless I improve upon it?

I offer a metal detecting service.

I charge based on square footage for people that want to see if there's any wealth in their backyard. I think this is a great business model because Metal Detectors are hard to come by seeing as how they're mainly sold online, and they aren't cheap.

The challenge is to figure out the rates. The idea behind this service is that it should be more profitable for the client to purchase my service instead of purchasing a metal detector.

I was thinking something along the lines of $25 fixed + $7/125sq feet?

What do you goys think?
23 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
that might be pretty cool
you'd want some really good metal detectors though
also would you plan on claiming a percentage of any valuables found?
>>
>>1341833
I have a higher end entry level machine (Garrett ace 250), and it does the job exceptionally well on land.

I think I shouldn't claim any percentage of valuables, just because it can become quite complicated to divvy up the wealth of anything. At least in the beginning stages I shouldn't, but maybe down the road based on my success rate I could eventually do some %age.

I'm just more concerned about the rates. I obviously want to make the most amount of money possible, but I also don't want to make it look inflated.

Just flat rate that shit. don't make the public do math.

Newfag to /biz/ here. I normally stay on /r9k/ or /a/ but I've decided to start investing in stocks, but how do I do it? Is there some sort of website for me to go to where I can buy and sell them? And how much should I invest and where? I'm the kind of guy that doesn't take big risks so I'm ok with only making small amounts of money as long as I don't lose any, or at least earn more than I lose over time. I also see people talking about some day trading app called RobinHood, do I use that?

I am starting college this fall so I want to try and branch out and find sources of money besides the shitty cashier job I have currently that I intend to quit soon anyway.

Pic related, it's my bank account and is all the money I have to work with.

If you dont like risk then trading stocks is not for you. Try index funds or bonds.
>>
Go to yobit.net and start investing in trumpcoin. It will be worth atleast $1 by November and currently costs $0.03 per coin.
>>
the most money you can safely make without taking on too much risk is a 4-7% annual return (and that's assuming the market doesn't crash in the next coming years, which isn't a smart thing to assume)
so if you have $2000, you're looking at an $80-140 per YEAR gain

people who make non-trivial earnings from stock returns usually have in the hundreds of thousands of dollars capital to work with

with that much money, you're much better off buying things from ebay and alibaba and reselling on amazon, or starting a website

So, fellow Dutchmen, how are you guys trading today? Me, I went short betting on a brexit and cashed in the day of the vote, made 2%.

Now I'm thinking of going long on financials, seeing as they are the biggest losers. Cheap to buy up, and I bet this is all just panic selling. The British will recover and so will the AEX.

What do you guys think?

Also went short on oil and commodities (Shell, Heineken) today.
>>
Selling gold, buying GBP tomorrow. I'll wait until september, then I might get some Heineken, Philips light, Ahold and ASML.
>>
if i had more money to invest i would buy : ING, Randstad,Eagon and of course GBP and shell as you said.

They will drop some more this week but as soon as you hear something change in the news about the Brexit not going thru you should buy those. they all will gain atlas 10/20%

Who's interested in the ultimate meme stock that will launch blasting straight to the moon and out of the confines of the milky way?
I brought you all $DUST at $2 before the $2.50 pyongyang rocket launch test, I heard great of how some profited heavily.

Now I bring you a health care stock that just received high designation and is poised to commence selling in Canada with a coming CE mark and the European Union.

Who's interested on this voyage to greatness?

Hello, /biz/. Here's my good situation:
I'm not paying more than 20 dollars on electricity and I have about 4 decent rig PCs around the Intel 5 score and running 24/7. But my google-fu skills are lacking and so is my knowledge of cryptomining.

Could you link me some programs for mining Eth, Doge, Blackcoin, Lisk, any easy crypto?
Can I run multiple mining instances on the same computer?
Is a "chain.info" wallet secure enough? can I buy physical coins and hold them?
