I'm thinking about becoming an FBI agent, doing criminal apprehension or investigative work, ideally some combination. Problem is, I'm currently a last-semester senior in college (too old for the internship program) and I did a music and business major. I'm set up to get a good job working in Japan (I'm American) in B2B marketing, so that satisfies the language requirement. Aside from getting gud at Japanese and getting in shape what can I do to be a more viable candidate?

FBI job is not as glamour as the media portrays it to be. Plus it pay meh, and they will do a full-scope background check which is were most people fail. One arrest record will ruin your chances in getting a job. Even minor things like parking tickets can ruin your chances in those types of jobs. If you want to become a special agent then you need a high GPA from college and most likely a masters degree. All the trouble for a shitty wage is why no one applies for those jobs. You're better off in teh private sector.

Free college and a $15 minimum wage are both retarded ideas, but there are a handful of industries that are quasi-socialized already and would be better off being completely nationalized. Health care, where 60% of the revenue already comes from the government and hospitals aren't allowed to turn away anyone who can't afford life-saving treatment and therefore have to push the costs onto responsible people, is the best example of that.

We all know the the middle class pays the most, atleast here in Europe.
The poor ones don't have any money to be stolen from and the rich ones use their massive amount of money to generate more through interests mostly.
But what if you have a small amount of money, lets say in the 5 digit zone?
Account book gives you so few interests that falls below the inflation rate.
Investing in stocks is highly speculative.
Gold seems okay, but at the moment it is still living in a bubble that could burst at any moment.
investing is more of a side thing.
if you dont have money to begin with i'd say focus on more tangible projects.

I've been doing abit of research on a few companies using online sites to check current and past directors etc. Also, just out of interest to read a few companies records from when they first registered and see what their accounts show etc.
Anyway... I've found that theres a single guy who's been appointed as ''Nominee Director'' or ''Nominee Secretary'' over 5000 times all for different companies.
What does this mean? How can someone have 5000 directorships? Like 200 of them are active and...
