Good Day /biz/,
I wanted to ask if anyone has any good ideas of good part time business job where you can work with a firm/company and make an extra 10-20k a year.
I work in the law enforcement sector full time and make approximately 86k a year. I get lots of time off in between rotations (3-4 days) and wanted to take up another job.
I have bachelors in Criminology but have always been interested in the business sector. To be honest, I'm not that great with numbers (hence one of the reasons I went into law enforcement) but am interested in marketing,...

You could do sales.
Solar door to door and TV/cable subscriptions can be good. Sell cars part time, the list goes on and on.
You could do construction 3 days a week. Some crews pay $14/hr.
You could bartend or wait 2 nights a week.
As far as business, most biz companies want fulltimers. The only part time is gonna be front desk or secretary.
You could try meeting up with a lawyer that needed paralegal services from time to time. Tons of those. You can get 20/hr for that. Plus...

Hey /biz/
I work construction, and business is getting so slow that paying rent is going to be a problem soon.
If I were to make a switch to something, where can I find some decent opportunity that has potential for career growth?
Sales is out of the question because autist.
Plumber or Electrician.
Good money in both. Especially if you just start your own eventually.
Any /biz/antines use Seeking Alpha for stock tips / advice? Do the people that contribute to the site know what they are talking about or are they full of it? It seems like they have sufficient data to back up their picks.

Can you give me any advice on what different types of coins sell the best? As a starter is it better to stick with ingots?
I'm an artist. I have art skills. I mainly work in the entertainment industry (games/movies/cartoons). But you know, I'm just a cog in the machine and do what my art director tells me to do. I'm getting tired of this.
I want to become a millionaire. I want that sweet, sweet range of $20-40 million net worth. I'm sick of being just another faceless drone while I watch all the influential game designers, engine programmers get the spotlight in my industry.
What would you do in my shoes tbqh?

Through some people I knew a guy who moved from animation to supervising and recently got a short made with Nick called "Summer Memories".
This isn't big game stuff, but it's in line with what you're asking about.
Hey guys real estate fag here.
Well not really, I'm actually buying securities right now -- that you guys would probably call me stupid for buying, but whatever.
Anyway, I just wanted to talk briefly about the new mortgage offered by BAC. It's a great loan offer for first time home buyers. I saw an article on CNN about 3% mortgages.
http://money.cnn.com/2016/02/22/real_estate/bank-of-america-low-down-payment/
Anyway, the reason why this is such an attractive offer is because it's at a lower down payment than an FHA, and it doesn't...

I'm sure there's a catch like ridiculous prepayment penalties.

Well, just letting you know it's out there. I don't qualify for one of these loans.
It's backed by federal guarantees, and is intended for people who are pretty credit worthy, but haven't been able to step into the market.
I just want to invest into some stock while never leaving my house.

If you're an investing adult, by which I mean you're only making <10 transactions annually, it doesn't matter who you register with.
>interested in learning about investing
>people who know nothing about stocks start pimping to you this sleazy guru and tell you to get into penny stocks
Has this ever happened to you?
Yeah, some nigger mentioned him, so naturally I avoided everything he said.

Hello /biz/,
I thought about posting in /sci/, but I think you guys might be better suited to help in this situation.
Part of what I'm studying as an undergraduate engineering student is energy systems, and for one of my classes I have to put together a business case. But not just any business case, a massive one. I'll summarize everything:
I have to set up an energy business (i.e. electric utility). I can borrow up to fifty billion dollars (30 year loan @ 3%) from a bank as capital investment & spend it "overnight" to set up the business (like...

Ass pennies.
You should really look into ass penny techniques. I think it would help you in your career path.
So I got an interview this weekend at a TCC Verizon store. It's a sales gig, and I'm wondering if anyone with a sales background can give some advice.
The last interview I had involving sales didnt go as well as I would have hoped, and I think I made myself come off as not very pursuant of customers who were unsure of whether to buy while they were there. I just need advice on how to avoid getting backed into that corner
Much appreciated
google search how to be a better sales position
know what your competitors offer and why your deals are better
make sure to use donald trump's argumentative tactics to explain why something is good to someone (it's on youtube).
Also, learn to talk with a deeper voice.
>learn to talk with a deeper voice
This sounds like bullshit. I have deep as fuck voice, although with a Slavic accent, but if anything I'm untrustworthy.
