Hey /biz/ I want to start an unconventional investment thread. I'm at a place in my finances where I'd like I start venturing into more unique investments, outside of public markets and realestate. I was recently offered the opportunity to invest in a local brewery. Tell me about your successes or failures in alternative investment ventures.
Self-bump
I have not invested in much sorry OP.
I invested like £500 into a families bussniess when I was a young fag and made my money back.
But best of luck.
>>1300474
Most people on here are losers and just invest for fun because it makes them feel cool (personal experience), so, we are all either homeowners (rare) or we own typical securities on our local exchange.
tldr; doubt any of us have alternative investments/venture capitaled
Sounds interesting though, I would learn some accounting ratios and what not from investopedia before you decide whether to invest and also compare to local average andindustry average to sus out if it's a good investment.

Criticism welcome. Need ideas for context.

how are you monetizing this site btw
When will this bubble pop?
>>1300242
We're gonna have it again. I need some damn ideas! ffs
Haven't thought about monetizing. That usually comes later for me.

definitely not a genius
he is a crook plain and simple
and his book was shit waste of paper and ink
You don't even need to read the book. I'll give you the good stuff right now:
>assets put money in your pocket
>liabilities take money out of your pocket
>buy assets
>avoid liabilities
That's the profound wisdom found in the book and it's not fraudulent or misleading or even a novel idea. It's very sound advice but the book does little to really explain how one should acquire assets, what kind, how they work exactly...

Having a steady source of passive income so you can dedicate yourself to building the future you want instead of being a depressed wagecuck like, for example, collecting enough capital to be able to live off of daytrading.

>Autoblogs
I tried and failed, set up a bunch of tumblr blogs an noticed that non porn ones generated a lot more views and shares, also used Exoclick for adverts and a mass queue uploader to create sufficient posting content for 15 to 30 days.
Set the posting time between 17:00 - 22:00 est since it's when most users are logged in.
Useful and very complete guide:

Add this to OP and just realize anything like this has its risks, but I have been getting consistent payments so far.

Daytrading is fantastic, and I mean real daytrading. Look up madaz and watch his videos on youtube.
Perhaps an easier route for some people is crypto trading, I've heard people use some pennystock theory on altcoins with decent volume and get pretty good gains. Going to try it myself tonight.
Oh and buy GALXF :^)

the biggest limiting factor to bitcoin's growth is the buying limits on exchanges.
Get ready to dump before the halving. Don't be the last one off that bus.
My sources tell me a story will be published next week exposing corruption among CCP officials. While corruption in China is nothing new, this story will focus heavily on how Bitcoin and foreign real estate are being used by officials to move money outside of China.
Furthermore, since Xi Jinping is not implicated in the story, but many of his "colleagues" are, it's likely that CCTV will not censor the story as it will aid in his anti-corruption campaign which is being used to eliminate rivals.
If you're experienced in crypto-currencies then...

Dear OP... China has many more middle and upper class citizens than the US has as a total population.
They are already in BTC and this story isn't going to change anything, except tanking Alibaba and other Chinese MEME stocks/indexes

So, I have the opportunity to relocate to any state in the United States save for Hawaii. What state should I move to? Why? I'm currently in Texas. I posted this in /trv/ already, but I'm wondering which states and cities would have strong economies. I already live in Austin, but I'm not sure I want to stay.
Bump
I've heard that Texas has the best job market of any state, but I haven't been there. I live in the midwest, good area to raise a family but not much growth or excitement.
>>1299736
Whereabouts? I went to college in Ohio.
>>1299692

>cheap as fuck rents
>low as fuck state taxes
>cheap as fuck goods and services
>high wages in smart industries
>warm weather

why are you leaving Texas anon?

Slap your mom and aunt back into humanity boii
For real though, you need to stop being such a helpless little pussy and do what you think is right, bitching and moaning on this anonymous forum is not going to help at all. Take action.
I'd say, hire a lawyer or pay a consultant for law advice. You could also rape both your mom and aunt.
Also this is not /b
Only course of action is getting legal advice.
You can probably get your story across & get a basic idea of next steps after a 1hr consultation. Hope you're not completely broke.
>>1299653
Seek advices from a real lawyer either online or irl (first counsultation is usually free)
Is government bureaucracy destroying small business?
i'm pretty sure that graph is actually a tree that was drawn in the most convoluted way possible
>>1299519
Yes. I'm starting a small business. Hiring employees legally is so fucking expensive it's an impossibility. At the prices I would have to charge the work would just be done by illegals
>>1299519
No, businesses just like to bitch and whine so that they can get even more kickbacks than they are already
American households are over $1 TRILLION in debt over their cars. This is a huge problem that can't continue to be swept under the rug.
It's not fair that I had to go into debt just to get a reliable form of transportation. Now I'm starting life $30,000 in the hole. I'll never be able to afford a house. How is this legal?
The high price of cars doesn't reflect the rising cost of tuition and books -- err.. I mean, cost of gasoline... uh...FREE CARS FOR EVERYONE!
>>1299466
fuck off ragelord

You can sell a car at any time. It's an asset.
You can't sell a degree you fuckin idiot.

>i got married, a mortgage and a car loan at your age!
mfw never done drugs, smokes, alcohol or girls and this is how my parents treat me every single day.
>>1299016
If you are making at least 55k a year working then they should get off your back. If not and if you have no degree you fucked up.
>>1299016
Just like they should and you should hear them.
On your birthday you will be closer to 30 them to 20.
I'm 23 and your parents would be proud of me.
Go out and get a job, do drugs some day and fuck girls. Live a little.
Try moving out, you're a 25 year old man posting frogs on the internet
I would cry every singleday and ask why I'm so much worse than my friends at parenting to raise such a piece of shit

Dgd is digixdao tokens not the actual dgx tokens.
DGD gives you a percentage of the transaction fees of DGX
